im so p'd off. so i did dukan last october for 3-4 weeks, then it was really low gi, more or less slimming world and really low carbs, iv had a few blips but iv been really good. iv shredded, i walk a lot of places, run around like a loon with the boys etc.
anyway in march i left a&e, id walk in excess of 10,000 a day and now i literally dont move at all in work. since march iv had 10lbs to loose to get to goal.
so for the past fortnight iv been so so so strict, iv managed to shred 2-3 times a week, if im working then il walk up the 6 flights to the car park and il try a walk at break times (literally a 10 min walk but its the best i can manage)
i have been so good food wise, iv had no alcohol
and iv f****** stayed the same this week! im fuming, now af is here so could it be that and should i ride it out and expect a loss when af goes?
without being vain i actually feel really trim and have noticed over the past 2 weeks that im not bloated and dont feel my clothes tight at all and iv tried on an 8 dress and it zips up, its tight and i wouldnt wear it out yet but at least it closes (im assuming its a big 8) im a 10. so maybe im shrinking inch wise
so at the moment im 10 8, i want to be 9 10 ish for august, im only 5ft 2 so thats more than fine for my height iyswim
what else can i do!
this happens all the time and why i stopped WW as id do well then it really slowed down and it was 0.5lb on, then 0.5lb off and it jsut sould not drop anymore

Go with how your clothes feel CP - if you're feeling trimmer and can get into things you wouldn't normally then something is working even if it doesn't always show on the scales.
Don't get disheartened - I've found that sometimes I try really hard and nothing happens, then suddenly (almost without trying) I do lose when I'm not expecting to. I think your body sometimes takes a little while to catch up. Also, two weeks isn't that long in the grand scheme of things. I bet next week you'll be showing a loss.
Do not give up now!

Well I'm going to be no help because my weight has been bloody ridiculous lately just seems to be going up despite me desperate for it to go down

Hold on a minute, a sie 8 dress fits you but your'e moaning cos the scales aren't showing a loss? Ditch the scales chick and go with the fooking 8s!

What Belle says. People often find it hard to lose weight when they reach what is actually the right weight for them.

I was going to post the same question, I've been shredding 5/6 times a week as well as cutting back 90% of the crap and it's not working. I felt so fed up last week I almost felt like quitting and just getting fat!

My old person trainer said woman should weigh themselves once a month. I can see why because the day before Af to after Af can be four pounds!
A size ten is fab by the way, well done so far and try not to lose heart. I'm sure a loss is on it's way.
PS did you wear the same clothes as last time you weighed in? Same time of day? Same scales?
17/06/2013 at 17:01
Beez when I was doing WW we learnt that, I always now try to wear the same thing or similar, no jewellery or watch and weigh at the same time on the same scales.

i weigh in nekkid! im not joking, every little bit helps if ic ould have weighed in at ww/sw nekkid i would have
i think i was 13 8 or 13 4 to start, i didnt particularly feel huge but looking back i was and it was vvv noticable cos im really short

Then concentrate on that CP. And I'd put money on you having a loss next week when it's not totm
17/06/2013 at 18:05
Don't lose heart, that's a fab achievement! Look forward to hearing about your loss next week.

Try the 5:2?

I definitely think if you get really stuck at a weight or struggle to maintain a weight it means you've reached your body's natural weight.
When I was at my fittest and most toned I wasn't my lightest at all.

CP, it sounds like you've done fab! Bet the scales show a loss next week x

I'm with MM focus on how you feel how clothes feel etc rather than weight on the scales. If you do feel you have more to loose try changing your excercise to something different, if you are doing the same stuff then your bady can adapt to become more effecient at it. I find interval training is very effective.
