Good morning everyone
How are you all on this fine day? Hope you're all keeping motivated for the weekend? Anyone planning a BBQ? We're off to the races tomorrow. It's family day, so we're all going, and going to take a picnic, which hopefully means i won't be tempted by the fast food stands.
Weigh in for me was last night, i lost a lovely 2.5lb. I'm so chuffed, i think i've lost 17lb in total. So not sure whether i'll manage a stone and half before my holidays or not, it means i've got to lose 4lb next week which i think it a bit beyond me.
B - 2 toast & beans & coffee
L - syn free chilli (no rice) muller light
D - home made bugers with new potatos and veggies
S - banana, pinapple and grapes

Well done on your loss Chids! You're doing well every week. 4lb is doable in a week you'd just need to adjust what you're doing a little. Maybe stop the carbs for the week and see if that makes a difference? I know you can have them on SW but in general they are things people tend to avoid when dieting so might be worth a shot?
I hit the wine last night, I'm so off the diet right now. I want to enjoy a lovely bank holiday weekend then get back on it next week

Well done chids, that's brilliant! 4lb is quite a bit of a loss in a week, and don't push yourself too hard. I can't remember, but what exercise are you doing? x

I had another good day, managed to stick to the diet despite being at home on my own all day and bored, and I did another level 2 30DS (that's 7 so far, should get a couple more in before we go away - I'm definitely noticing a difference, but that could be partly because I'm eating better too) and ended up under calories for the day
Hope I can keep it up for the next couple of days, scales are looking good so far compared to what I was last weekend, but I'll do a final weigh in on Sunday morning.

I've got a recipie belle for "super free soup". It's got lots of different beans and lentils and veggies in it, so i'm making that for lunches next week in the hope that it'll help speed up my loss for next week.
I'm just really pleased that the weight is coming off, and i'm noticing it, and people are starting to notice it too. I've always struggled with weight, even as a child, and i've finally found a new way of eating which is helping me to lose weight without actually feeling like i'm on a diet.
I'm going to try my wedding dress on at some point over the weekend, that'll give me an idea of how much i've lost.

Deedee, i do 1 hour of zumba a week, and i try and perhaps fit in a walk at some point. I find that the zumba is really helping me to lose the weight from my legs and because there's lots of arm exercise, it's helping with the bingo wings. When i'm a bit slimmer, then i'll perhaps start looking to up the exercise even more, but with the two babys, a full time job and a house to keep, it's hard to fit everything in.

Yes, does sounds like there's no time to fit anything else in - I'm only just finding time to shred this week because I've not been out singing at all! Any chance of going for a walk during your lunch or something like that, just thinking an extra bit of exercise might help you lose a bit more this week.
It's great how well you're doing on this diet, I've also been one who's struggled with their weight all their life - I was always an overweight child and adult until not long before I met MrDD - part of the weight loss was down to the split with my ex boyfriend, but then when I met MrDD I saw photos of myself in a bikini when we went on holiday and hted it so wanted to lose weight for myself properly and have stuck around this weight (apart from when pg and for a little while after) ever since. Anyway, that's all a bit me me me, just letting you know I understand how it feels to be happy about your eating (although I still have problems)

Deedee, it's nice to know that other people struggle too. I'll never have a body suitable for a bikini, but if i can go to a normal shop, and buy perhaps a size 14 i'll be happy. That might still seem big to some people, but when you've come from a size 24, a size 14 is fantastic.

A 14 is not big Chids! Well done on your steady weight loss. Have you taken before pics so when you feel able to, you can share?

I weighed in today and am the lowest I have been for ages, but not seeing any difference shape wise. I hate my body. I felt if I got to 9.7 I would be happy and toned, but that only comes with exercise, something I haven't had any time for lately. My loss this week is only down to being poorly over the weekend last week, so am now 9.8.5. I want to try to stay focussed and keep the weight off, not sure how easy that is after being ill as its only down to that that I lost weight.

1st baby, i've not got any before and after pictures i don't think. There's perhaps some from christmas time, which is probably around when i would have been at my biggest. I shall start taking some though, and perhaps make a bit of a weight loss diary. Might also help to keep me on track a bit.
I hope you're feeling better soon. Why do you hate your body? I find it hard being big so see why someone who is 9.8 would be unhappy with their body.

Just because I weigh that, doesn't mean my body is toned or trim. I still have love handles, a muffin top and saggy boobs. I used to dream of getting back to 9.7 and thinking I owuld be a skinny minny like I used to be at that weight, but I;m wobbly and disgusting.
This was me when I was 9.3 on my honeymoon almost 7 years ago...
Suffice to say, mummyhood means I no longer am anywhere near looking like this.

Would you rather be a mummy or have a nice toned body? I know which i'd prefer. Our bodies change when we have babies, but i guess that's the price we pay to be mummy's. I've got a pouchy tummy, i'm probably always going to have that, no matter how much i lose, because i've had two c-sections. The skin there is numb and dead. But i've got two babies, and so i'm willing to put up with my wobbly numb belly.

On hon, we were all trimmer and more toned when we were younger. You can't go comparing your body now after 2 kids to pre babies 7 years ago!
I need to get exercising and will start again next week. Want me to kick your butt and get you doing it with me? If I can get up at 5.30 to do half hour, I'm sure you can fit something in too?

Your body changes as you get older anyway - even if you don't have kids. Children just hurry it on the way
Well done to the losers. Chids don't worry if you don't quite get to your goal before your holiday. You're now over a stone lighter which is making a difference to how you feel about yourself. Keep going with what you're doing and the weight will keep coming off.
Stay the same for me again this week. I've been eating too much (boredom at work mainly). Its my birthday this weekend and we're going out for a meal, having family over and I'm hoping there might be some cake. Needless to say I can't imagine that I'll be losing any weight Once this birthday and H's birthday (which is next week) are out of the way I shall be back on the straight and narrow.

Yes, just stay focussed on holiday but don't worry too much about it. I found last year that thanks to all the walking/swimming/general running around we did I didn't gain anything even though I had some unhealthy stuff to eat and drink and was certain I must have gained when I got back. We were self catering so I made sure we had plenty of salad stuff and fruit to take out and about with us so that I wasn't tempted to fill up on rubbish the whole time.

I know, I just hoped, clutching at straws! that once I lost weight on the scales I would see a difference.
I'll be going back to the gym Belle, I just havent been able to this week with illness and other commitments. There is no way I'd get up at 5:£0 though, never in a million years, the kids would be up at the time too and it would just be hellish. I cant do a dvd unless its stomach exercises only. the others kill my knees.
