Morning all. Are we all delighted to be gearing up to the weekend? I hope work goes quickly today, H is out tonight and I am looking forward to a lazy evening (after day 3 of Ripped in 30).
I am down another 2lbs since monday so am finally back tothe weight I am on SW's chart and have 7 lbs until target.

Morning AlsiT, well done on doing Ripped in 30 and losing 2lbs, that's fab.
I had another good day yesterday, I couldn't get to the gym so I shredded when I got in from work and will be doing the same again tonight. I'm not going to weigh in until Monday so that will keep me on track over the weekend.
I'm at work today so it will be another good day.
B - Go ahead bar.
L - Soup.
D - Chicken, new potatoes and salad.

You both sound like you are doing well!
Today was my 1st ''serious'' statring point weigh in so managed to put on even more weight since then. Am now at 8st 11.591lb (worked it out in stones to make me ''fit in'' better with everyone on here!) SW could you update the chart? My aim by the 26th July is 8st 2.6404lb.
Planing to start sport again tonight - a 5KM ''run'' on the cross trainer. Will probably fall off due to wobbly legs:) Wish me luck :) Then a Shred DVD on both Sat + Sunday.

Me, i'm annoyed, put 1lb on last night. I've been really good throughout the week, no meals out or anything to really derail me. I've been to zumba and danced my ass off, and i gain 1lb. Whenever i go to zumba i put on. I've not been for 2 weeks before this and i lost both weeks. It certainly doesn't motivate me to exercise.

Chids - 1lb is a poo. Go have a poo and re-weigh yourself, you'll feel better. No honestly exercising does make you gain a little but it will all even itself out.
I was naughty yesterday and had lasagna and cheese and cake. Still not exercising, I'm adament to start again over the weekend. 17 weeks til holiday!

chids, sorry you've put on. Like Belle says, keep up with the exercise, it will pay off.
Belle - You aren't in the right frame of mind are you? Have a good blow out this week and you might feel ready to get back into it on Monday.

Belle, i didn't go yesterday for a poo, so i'm blaming that. I can't re-weigh myself, at SW you only get one weigh in a week.
I'm still keeping up the zumba, i enjoy it, and as someone who hates exercise, i'm glad to have found something i enjoy and i actually stick at. I can tell it's helping to change my body shape, so that's what matters, i'm all about the clothes sizes rather than what is says on the scales, so as long as my clothes are getting loser, then that's ok with me.

SW I'm struggling atm, being away, working late, my sister with us, needed this week to recharge at home so yes I think I'm going to enjoy this weekend and get back on it Monday. I will shred over the weekend though to kick start me as I'll be having to get up at 5.30am to do it during the week. Doing day 3 on Monday won't be as bad as day 1.

chids, definately keep it up, it will make you feel good and help tone your body.
Belle, I bet if you have a blow out for the next few days you'll be raring to go on Monday, although I don't know how you can get up at 5.30am, that's the middle of the night but I suppose its lighter at that time and its out of the way for the day.
LB - If you don't like the shred could you find a different dvd to do or a different exercise?

Chids, I think exercise makes you retain water, something about retaining in order to repair and build muscles? As you can tell I don't know a lot about it 1lb is nothing though you'll get it off next week, you're doing so well
AFM. I'm still in bed, lazy biatch!! Today would have been my due date so took day off work as didn't know how I'd feel. I'm ok though, better than I expected, felt worse last night to be honest! Going to get my nails done in a bit. Think I'll go running later too as was going to do ripped in 30 but got stepson with us this weekend and feel a prat jumping around in front of the telly when they are all in! Intended to do it earlier but my bed is just so comfy
Anyway todays plan
B - toast
L - roasted Mediterranean veg and chorizo
D - think we are eating out but will choose wisely
E - running
Good luck to anyone else weighing in today, I'm weighing on Monday, so must focus over the weekend!

Theres a twist! I was at my skinniest in the last 10 years right after the birth in Summer 2010 - I lost all my birth weight and 10 lbs extra due to breast-feeding in 3 weeks. I as so skinny I was freakied myself as it happened so suddently. All the walking long distances with pram and a very colicky baby did'nt help either. H & my Mum were really worried and trying to fatten me up. It went up only after I started weaning.
I am petite so any extra weight is immediately noticeable :( I need to get rid of my bum and tummy...... basically tone up a lot ..... heres tomy willpower !

Oh that happened to me with my fiirst, appetite and weight plummeted and now it's happening again. Trouble is I still I have a mum tum and like you said I am petite too so any weight goes straight to my tummy. I'm hoping by eating more healthily and starting some exercise I can change my body shape a bit...we'll see!

Do you find that once you have kids, it's harder to lose the weight off your belly? I can tell i'm losing from my legs, and around my bust and shoulders, but my belly doesn't seem to have gone down any. Whether it's because of the two c-sections i don't know, but i can't by smaller clothes yet because of being able to fasten them around my middle.

Yes chids, the weight has dropped off everywhere else but I have a muffin top. Can't buy anything new yet because I'm an odd size :-/
