It's my mam's friends funeral today
She organised it all herself, she's having a horse drawn carriage with a white casket. It's a humanist service, I've only ever been to one of those.
Her daughter will be there which will be heartbreaking, I don't think she quite gets what has happened, she seemed excited when she was telling us that her mam was coming home last night

Poor, poor little baby. That's heartbreaking. Has it been decided where she'll live yet?

Thanks ladies, I'm back now.
It was horrible, seeing her daughter was heartbreaking, she was sobbing when she got out of the car. She sat through the service but it was horrible seeing her at the end, I gave her a kiss and a cuddle, told her how brave she was and how proud her mam would of been of her and that she was welcome to come and play with E anytime she like.
There were hundreds of people there, there wasn't enough room inside the Crem to fit everyone in. The headmaster from the school was there as was A's teacher which I thought was nice.

That sounds so sad SW, nice that there were plenty of people there. Children' shouldn't have to go through this kind of thing, losing a loved one is horrible, but to have to go through it at such a young age
