I want to get my Mum something from P as a thank you for looking after her whilst i've been at work this school year. End of Christmas term i ot her a framed word picture thingy, end of easter term i got her a little plaque from Little Love designs.
I need something with some thought behind it, not just a bottle of gin or similar (although i'll probably get her that too!) that doesn't cost too much and i can get by the end of next week.
What do you think?!?!

What about a day out for you and her?

Why not something homemade. Make some crispy cakes with P and get a nice plain cake box for them to go in, get P to finger paint all over it(the box) and stick a bow on . It'll be lovely!

Vouchers are a good idea so she can treat herself. Maybe some cath kidston ones.....
And then i could make some cakes too and P could decorate the box. Love that idea ML. Where do i buy cake boxes?!

Try a cake shop/bakery . Or Lakeland. I always do things like this for E to take for his teachers, I can't afford to buy them all a gift so I make a batch of cookies and put them in nice cellophane bags with ribbons and he does a nicely decorated tag to go on. The nice teachers get the best cookies and my least favourite teachers get the ones that are a wee bit burnt on the edges ;-)

Does she wear jewellery? How about a nice little bracelet with a 'P' charm? I recently had one made for myself (with 'F' obviously lol) and I love it, wasn't expensive either. The lady who made mine is local but there's similar on etsy, etc.
