I'm going out with the girls from playgroups tomorrow, it's snowing, years ago I'd have worn my barely there skirt, sky high shoes and paper thin jacket! I'm contemplating wearing my wellies and putting them in a carrier bag when I get into the pub iv just txt them to say if we have to queue then I'm not going in as I want a seat and itl be cold if we have to wait outside
maybe we should all just come to my house and play bridge or something and listen to the wireless!!!

Haha I'd be the same! I remember going out without a coat in winter because a coat would have ruined my outfit. I don't remember being cold tho, must of been the diamond whites keeping me warm!

I'm the same, if I go out now I'm quite happy to stay in one place if we have a seat, I hate going from pub to pub. The thought of waiting in a taxi queue at 3 in the morning is horrific, whereas before I'd quite happily stand in one a mile long without a jacket on either!

Oh i cannot stand having cold feet. But I'd definitely wear an outfit which suited boots with big thick socks under them. And a big winter coat on top

I'm the same, it's all about warmth and comfort these days. I also like to be able to have a conversation rather than yelling in people's ears and pretending to hear what they've said.

I'd be the same, my idea of a good night out now involves a nice meal out and a couple of drinks. Clubs/bars in town just don't appeal to me.

We actually have to venture into the city centre

If you are old then I must be 6 ft under.
I don't think what you said is about being old, but just knowing what you are willing to put up with.

Totally agree. There is a staff do on tonight. I was unsure about going or not. Rain and cold winds has made me decide to stay at home!

I really don't fancy going out to bars and clubs anymore. It's pub and jeans for me these days.
