Has anyone been to Gullivers Kingdom? Would you recommend it for a 2 year old and a 3.5 year old? I'm sure I went when I was younger but can't remember that much about it.

Oh blimey, it has been YEARS since I went there.
I'd say it'd be OK for kids that age, from what I can remember, it is aimed more at younger kids????

Thanks. I'm not too good with hills, but will add it to my list of places to go during the holidays

I don't live too far from there, but despite visiting Matlock Bath quite regularly, I still haven't been to Gullivers. Children under 90cm are free, so I suspect they'll need to be that height to go on most of the rides and as my 3yr old is only just that, I've been putting it off until she's taller. A friend took her son when he was around 2 and she said she'd never go again as it was a nightmare with all the hills and the theme park isn't as contained as she'd have liked for a 2yr old tanking around. There is also the Heights of Abraham there, which is a cable car ride and then a few caves and a park. Matlock Bath is still one of the strangest places I know. It's the seaside, without the sea. I love it there in summer, with the amusement arcades and shops open late and you must have the fish and chips. I'd avoid on a Sunday though, as it's a popular biker haunt so packed full of bikes making parking etc. more difficult.
