We were sooo lucky with the weather, the sun shone the whole time we were away! Even warm enough for us to go paddling in the sea with barefeet and the water wasn't even cold! We got upgraded from a 2 bed caravan to a 4 bedroomed massive apartment with separate living room and kitchen diner! Only 2 min walk from beach. The kids didn't want to do any sightseeing so we spent the whole time on the beach or in the amazing swimming pool or at the park. Usual cheesy evening kids entertainment but the girls absolutely loved it and meant they slept really well and had lie-ins. Not exactly mine or H's idea of a relaxing holiday but the kids were happy so we were too! My parents are off to Santorini today, I'm so jealous completely my type of holiday but never mind, one day I will be there!

Oh fab Mossy! Remind me where you were staying, if we do a caravan break again I need recommendations.

Pwllheli North Wales so probably too far for you?

Ah probably, although we did discuss Dorset and it's that kinda way isn't it?

Ha ha I think you'll find it's a few hours from Dorset! I'd do Devon/Cornwall if I were you, it's beautiful but too far for us really.

Sounds lovely and you were lucky with the weather. Makes all the difference.
Belle Dorset is South coast and its beautiful. We had a lovely holiday there a couple of years ago - loads to do for kids.

Thanks Chids and Cedar. Yes it would be a different holiday if it was raining and cold.
I've been to Dorset, it's a lovely area.
