I have long straight hair. I wash dry and straighten it every day. For work it's either down or in a doughnut but 30 days out the month I'd say it's down. Which is pretty boring.
I've bought some lovely new outfits for my new job, some of which would suit hair up so I need help with messy up dos. You know those messy ponytails celebs have, how do they do them? I won't have time to faff curling hair with GHDs of a morning so what curlers do I need to give my hair some body and sexy toussle look and how long do they need to stay in for?

What about those sleep in rollers, they are supposed to be fab

I wish I knew but I am useless with hair, I just leave it straight or curl it with ghds for a night out. I'd love to be able to tie it up nicely.

Could you not just get it cut into a smart bob if you have straight hair? Always looks super smart.
Alternatively if you like it long pinterest has loads of hair style ideas and step by step guides as to how to achieve them. I saw one oin on there yesterday which said divide your hair into two, plait each section, them twist it and run your hair straighteners over it and undo - apparently you'll end up with beachy waves. No idea whether it actually works but that is the kind of tip you'll find!

No RS I can't and won't cut it into a bob. I love it long and straight I'm just after ideas for up dos.

Ooo, I love the look of those - I have my hair down and straight nearly every day too and having a bit of curl to it would be great!
Sorry Fi missed that second link. They are a bargain on there. Cheers dude

I look up videos on YouTube to get ideas on hair up and ones that can be done really easily.

I have those rollers ladies and they are not that comfortable- I can't sleep in them anyway!
I think the messy ponytails take a bit of back combing but no idea how! I'm rubbish with my hair, it's always tied back in a rush!

How about a banana clip as something different?

I jsut bought myself a couple packs of cheap rollers from good old Primark £1 for 12! Gonna give them a whirl one evening see how I go. I might do them Friday night so girls of I'm seeing you on Saturday don't laugh!

Belle I'd love to have your hair to do different styles with! Little changes can make big differences. Different partings, bit of back comb (root lift) plaited quiff. Plaiting before bed looks quite nice when it's wavy in the morning. Curlin it the night before with straighteners and then pinning it up in the morning looks nice (don't try to hard looks better)

Low bun, side bun, high bun. Pinned to the side and curled. Not sure how you like your hair

Hon they all sound fab but I'm literally useless and have zero time in the mornings so the easier the better. You can show me some bits on saturday x
