Sorry if that sounds random! I'm trying to think of stuff to add to my list to pack for the boys.. stuff like good toys, things that might be useful or handy! (like peanut butter for E!)
We haven't been abroad for 3 years so I can't think what was useful last time, and O doesn't have a baggage allowance so I need to pack light.
I have some stickers and notebooks for on flight/in restaurants. A power rangers puzzle book for E! An Ipad...
Any suggestions , anything random that you found handy?!
Love talking holidays.. gets me in the mood for mine :-)

iPad or similar tablet or at least a DVD player.
Familiar snacks, Pringles, raisin boxes, white chocolate buttons.
I'm so slummy.
Sticker books are awesome too. Pound shop!

Play dough. Only time i let him have it is on the plane as i dont have to clear it up lol
L is either easy to please or Im lucky cos he really does just go withthe flow. He can buy a bag of sweets and mag at airport and he's pleased as punch.

Pound shop, good idea!
E would love play dough on the plane, he loves it at home but O is such a little monkey I think he'd chuck it at people.
Actually E would love sweets and a mag too, its O who I need to think harder for!
Oh yes, lots of snacks.
I really want to think of some good stuff to pack for O to play with in the apartment, I can't think of things that aren't huge!

Figures are great. Get a couple of new dinosaurs, they can have a lot of fun!

jigsaws? A few cars, and a few books? I wouldn't take too much as you're not likely to be in the apartment much anyway?

I've got one of them magnetic drawing things, and also some aquadoodle travel sheets. I'm hoping that these will keep E entertained. We will get her a magazine from the airport, and she's got a bag of tat. It's basically a bag full of the free gifts that you get from the magazines or in a happy meal. It keeps both E and S entertained for hours.
I've packed cheddars, raisins, biscuits and cereal bars for snacks.
Neither child really plays on an ipad or our phone, we don't let them have them.

I am just going to get stuff at the airport for him, a mag etc. He has the iPad, I need to get downloading some stuff for him though
Are you allowed to take snacks through security or are you putting them in your case?

You can take food through Fi. I always buy sweets in poundshop as cheaper than airside WH Smith!

I've got tons of sweets and goodies to take through Kellfi. Only think you're still a bit restricted with is drinks, so i'll get them airside. We're only on the plane for just over 2 hours so i'm sure i won't need too much food to keep them good.

Ah, do you? I might get some then. I have always just bought at the airport or got them in the resort

Thanks loads of great ideas here. Bubbles for the beach, brilliant!
Hopefully we won't be in the apartment much but O is always getting into stuff he shouldn't so its for times when we're inside getting ready, pottering around indoors etc.
Travel Aquadoodle I will look out for , and some new figures and dinosaurs is a great idea and they can squeeze into gaps in the case!
Its not so much E I am needing to worry about its more O the non-stop lively one!

Does anyone know if I can take home prepared sandwiches in my hand luggage or is it dependent on airline? We are flying Easy jet. Our flights at 8am so I expect they'll be hungry and we have an hour and a half transfer so it would be handy if I can take sarnies.

We always have ML. We're flying with thomson, but haven't paid for the meal on the plane. They're horrible usually anyway. So i've got munchies for on there. I've noticed though that at Birmingham Airport which is where we are flying from, that there is a wetherspoons, so i'm hoping we might get a cooked breakfast there before we travel.
