U had hers this morning. It was droplets in the nose and I had been warning her about an injection! It was so easy and straight forward!

A had his last week, I knew it was the nasal spray but still had to hold him down, then he grabbed a handful of chocolate buttons as we left and wanted to go back again!
J has his next week.
The letter said "an injection up the nostrels", which is worded terribly.

Our letter just said flu vaccination. So I took U with me to see the cats getting their injections so she knew what would happen. I carefully planned it all out so she wouldn't be nervous and then it was jsut poke her up the nose

Jacob had his two weeks ago, the letter said a nasal spray so I told him what to expect and he was fine.

Ms is in a fortnight, she's most looking forward to it because her cousin has had it and she wants to be the same as her. Not sure she quite understands ;)

O got his letter though this week which stated that it was a nasal spray, I was initially thinking an injection when I started to read it.

The child has to be aged between two and three years on September 1st 2013, so ML and Sshh yours will be too young and too old. I have no idea why specifically they only have them then!
19/10/2013 at 12:27
Sshh, I would have thought your boy will get it as he's almost the same age as Jacob - the letter we had said it was being given to all two and three year olds.

Our GP is doing it for children born between September 1 2009 and September 1 2011 but is not sending out letters, only for people who request it. I think I've got the dates right, something like that but pretty specific anyway.
Next year more age groups will be included i think.

I didn't know anything about this! I is just 3 so presume would qualify...will need to look at reasons for giving it. She doesn't have any health issues.

My E is getting hers on Wednesday. Reasons for getting it for me are pure and simply to avoid the flu no issues healthwise for her either. Infact my just about 5 year old is getting it too as his school are taking part in a trial and my Type 1 diabetic H always gets it so I will be the only unvaccinated one in our house this year!

I remember B getting a flu vaccination when he was between two and three but that was an injection. I just thought it was a random one they did?
