Its the op E had last year and its fine I promise. Its horrible to think of it happening to your baby, but honestly the best thing we have ever done for Evie. She has come on leaps and bounds since she had them x
14/05/2013 at 17:08
Oh is it the same 1stBaby, did E have something done with her adenoids too?
14/05/2013 at 17:12
Yep. Grommits are tiny things that go into the ear which help drain the fluid behind the ears and keep the passage open. They fall out over time but are not painful (I have had 3 sets done myself). E also had her addenoids removed as she had constant snot, which is related.
14/05/2013 at 17:15
Ah I see. Grommits are really common.
14/05/2013 at 17:44
Yeah, more so than I ever thought. In E's class of 30 there are about 6 who have had the op!
14/05/2013 at 17:45
I'm fine thanks. Just dreading him going under a GA. it'll be 2-3 months. Thanks everyone xx

They mentioned adenoids as well, however, they're going to see how they go first x
