Hi, I'm Hollie I'm 20, I've been clicking about on babyexpert since I found out I was pregnant and thought now was the right time to sign up as I had my little girl ( Amelia Alice ) on 16/05/12 (prem!) and we came home yesterday. Recently got engaged to Amelia's dad.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and thanks for all the great advice i've found on here, especially as a first time mummy!

Hi Hollie, congratulations for the arrival of Amelia. You must be so happy to have her home. Our baby was also prem and in icu for three weeks, although it felt like three years! Did Amelia have any other health issues other than prem? it would be nice to hear other peoples experiences! xxx

Hi! thanks for the reply!
Oh god yes. Very scared to bring her home but at the same time I just couldn't wait to have her in her first house!
Amelia had a little bit of fluid around her lungs which they had to remove as it was causing her a slight breathing problem but other than that she's doing well!
How far along were you when your LO was born?xx

Lo was born at 35 weeks so not too early! had op at one day old but done really well and exceeded dr expectations on his recovery time!
We were very worried when he came home but after a few days you seem to settle into a routine nicely and you will gain confidence! One thing I would say is enjoy your time with her and dont worry too much about other household chores! I was trying to keep on top of everything but was so exhaused all of the time something had to give!
Was Amelia very early?
Its really nice to hear from someone who has been been through similar experience! take care xx

Aaah lovely! Glad he did well!
Yeah we're trying to get ourselves into a routine but everythings been so up in the air since we've got home, so glad to have the rest of the family popping round to visit, get some good tips, especially from my mum!
Ah thank you. We've been trying to make sure we dont get behind on anything but she's number one so i think other things will begin to lack soon.
She was just short of 35 weeks so close to yours. Was expecting her to stay in hospital longer than she did!
Oh i know, thank you for the advice!
Take care and speak soon xx
