I am a PhD student at the University of Edinburgh, and I want to interview first time mums from Scotland for my research. It is hard to find participants as I would like to interview them 3 times, with the first time being before their first scan.
I know that the internet is a place that many women will use to get information about pregnancy, and to chat about their experiences, before they see their midwife for the first time, and I would love to use forums such as babyexpert to search for participants!
I have been finding it really hard to post though - I do not want to post a message before OKing it with administrators. But I have tried Bounty, Emma's Diary, Pregnancy Forum UK, and am not receiving any response! I am exasperated, as I really think my research is worthwhile and will help to improve antenatal support, but I can't do it without participants.
Anyway, I am feeling bad about it all. I would like to contact the Babyexpert administrator to see if I can post details about my research, and my contact details, on their 'Due in ...' pages. Does anyone know how I can contact them????
Thanks for your help!!!! From Emily
