I've stupidly done a white wash with one of Ks black tops = grey whites. SO peed off.
I use Napisan in the white wash but have never used it to soak. Does it bleach if left too long? I have white clothes with colours in them, a dress with white top half but dark skirt for example....how do I soak such items?

You should only soak whites in it - if you soaked the dress it would ruin it. Can you wrap the bottom half in a carrier bag and just soak the top half? I know its hard to do but otherwise it will get ruined.
I left mine in for 2 hours and it did bleach it, but I could have left it longer tbh.

I've never used Napisan, but is it worth trying one of those colour run remover things first?

Thanks 1stBaby, I think the dress has had it in that case as there is a collar on it too. Never mind. I know to soak the other whites for 2 hrs though.

Try a colour run thingy on the dress.

Do colour run things take grey out of whites though?

I did a white wash but didn't notice that L's star wars pants which had a small blue bit on them were in too. Everything white came out blueish. I just put a scoop of vanish powder in the machine and washed them again at 60 degrees and the blue thankfully disappeared. Might be worth a try.
