I'm a nanny, I need to get something for my boss and her H..They are well off and she buys everything they need/want. They don't drink , she is VERY fussy with food/chocolate- only likes very expensive chocs such as Neuhaus , doesn't like Thorntons chocs! (my old bosses used to get a bottle of something and some Thorntons!) She is fussy with toiletries too... only uses expensive , organic stuff.
I only want to spend about £15-£20 on them which is making it so hard, as I can't really afford the stuff they like. Please help!

What about Yankee Candle?

I like them but she has Jo Malone ones everywhere, so think it would be crap in comparison!
Thank you though Kellfi!

Hotel Chocolate chocolates?
If you've got one near you a jar of chocolate truffles and some fancy pasta from Carluccios

Ha, I did think about Jo Malone first, but that wasnt in your budget. Poor you

Cedar, she buys HC chocs for her LO but not sure if she buys them for herself, will have to nose in the larder. thanks, nice idea if she likes them!

She has got expensive tastes! I wouldn't waste Hotel Chocolate chocolates on my daughter!
Or you could go for something random like a bee hotel or a fancy bird nesting box (assuming they've got a garden) There was some in the John Lewis gift catalogue that came over the weekend.

Shouldn't she be buying for you?

Did u buy for her last year? I'd take the lo to one of those pottery places and get a plate with his prints on it and give to them.
Or maybe a pic of him in a nice frame when uv taken him somewhere
My cm doesn't get me anything (I now feel I'm missing out )

Belle, she does buy for me and the boys and she's always so generous! Last year she got the boys dressing gowns from the White company and lego boxes, she doesn't even get to see them, and she got me some Jo Malone body cream and some gorgeous Sophie Conran/ portmeirion heart shaped serving bowls, so she's always really generous- I like to get them something as they are nice people to work for and good to me.
Last year CP I got them a box of chocolates from Fortnum and Mason. I usually do make something with the LO too, from him to them.
I'll be getting our CM a bottle of Pinot , she won't buy for me but its a different situation from being a nanny in someones home x

Thanks Carole, they go away for Christmas though so they wouldn't get to enjoy the flowers!

She sometimes goes for afternoon tea in London with her husband so I don't know if there would be anywhere local/cheaper they would like. I might look into this though as you've planted a seed of thought into my head for someone else! thanks

I second the afternoon tea. Group on or living social have a lot of offers for 'winter tea' and various other things at the moment xx
