r has always been so good with other children. CM has never hard any problems with him. Since he came out of hospital he has been twice and every time a child is loud or cries R breaks his hear and gets really upset. she has said that only thing that helps is cuddling her, cant distract him with anything.
Now when baby r makesa gurgle noise he rushes over to give dummy/muslin or something. He has never cried. He's makes it clear he doesn't like her being upset but doesn't cry himself.
is it just a phase?! Because he hasn't been in a while?! Baby R affected him more than I think?! He's goin 3 mornings next week to see if his helps. I don't want him to bsails. Could it be something with his ears?! I'm worried tha I'm missing the obvious. I have very loud nieces and nephews and I have never notice him do it. Tbf we haven't seen them much since hospital 3 times at he most.
Edited to sort out STUPID auto correct! I thought it was meant to help! I need to turn it off! driving me insane!

Poor R. My first thought is hearing if he is crying at CMs but why is he not crying at home with baby R? Have you asked him about it? Another thought is something to do with his hospital stay? was it noisy / scary / echoey? Maybe take him docs to have his ears checked out and put your mind at rest. x

Thanks Belle. Well this is what I thought, I thought maybe he missed baby R when he was at CM also. I haven't asked him much as not sure how much he can communicate with me. He only has a few words. I'm not sure, I can't remember anything happening in hospital that could be linked. He did have his dummy a lot in hospital and he hardly ever has it so maybe it could be linked with that, maybe when hes putting baby R's back in her mouth he may think if he cries he will get it?! I'm really unsure. Will take him to doctors and see. Its difficult as hes at this stage where he can't really tell me whats wrong, he will point to things and say the odd word. x

E always cried or got upset when she heard loud noises and that was due to her hearing problems. Could he have any hearing issues?

Not that I'm aware off. What signs should I be looking out for?! The only tests he would have had were the newborn hearing check
