Hi Lillysmum, so sorry to hear of your loss.
Sadly a great too many symptoms are missed or put down to the wrong condition (pre-eclampsia is often put down to being simply oaedema (fluid retention) when you think they would consider the more threatening condition 1st and rule it out).
Each and every pregnancy truly is different though and what happened in one won't always happen the same way next time (With my eldest I had no symptoms other than my growing bump, my youngest I had bloodloss/headaches/nausea/nosebleeds/dizzy spells and a complete panic that something was going wrong).
Good luck with TTC, whatever happens you have friends and support on here (so many women who have all experienced a host of different things, there's always somebody who can relate). Best wishes.

Lillysmum - I completely feel your pain. I lost my little boy back in October, he was born at 28w + 2, and only lived for 2 days as he just wasnt strong enough. We got the go ahead from our consultant to TTC pretty much straight away, and waited for one perios just to be sure of dates etc. I never understood all the things that you're supposed to know about your body, until I came on here. I now understand ov, what it feels like, when it's happenening, understanding your cervical mucus etc and I was lucky enough to fall pregnant the first time my husband and I tried. Sadly I am in the process of a m/c but the positives out of this is that I can fall pg, I can do it quickly and hopefully once I've got over this m/c I'll be able to try again and maybe we'll be lucky enough to get our baby home this time round.
I just wanted to let you know that whilst it's hard just now and things will not seem real, you'll get through it and you'll see light at the end of a very large tunnel.
I don't know if you were told aobut it - but you could also try this website as it's specially for people in our situation with losing our baby:
You will find many many like minded and sadly experienced people that will be able to help and support you. There are also lovely ladies in there in the groups section that will be able to help with any questions you have regarding understanding your body.
Sending you strenght for you at this hard time.
