Hope everyones ok, all the mums, bumps, babies, toddlers and older?
Its been a bit quiet on here so i thought id come on and bore you to death with my life!
We are all ok, Me and lola have had a bit of a bug but hopefully thats going now!
Lolas walking and has added peppa pig and backpack (shouted just like dora the explora) to her vocab. Jacks has melted my heart after a day just me and the kids, we popped to town and he kept chatting away and calling me mum like a normal toddler, his longest sentence so far was mum look its a duck, and a car, and a boat!!!
Lolas in the bad books again, after killing a second laptop charger so im now on my 3rd since september. She also has dunked my phone in a glass of juice, she shot up on the couch the other day, grabbed it, cackled like a witch and then there was a plop! i was devastated!! its completely dead, even though i grabbed it out in seconds, 4 days of drying out using airing cupboards, hairdryers, radiators and even a putting it in a bowl of rice!? nothing worked, so i gave in and brought a cheapish one, its nicer than my old expensive one, but anyway, as i leave the shop roo turns my old one and and guess what, it soddin works!!! so my mums rather chuffed as i chucked it at her and said never to mention it again!!!!
Jack also finally had a hair cut, i would post photos but that would be a waste of time, hes litterally had a trim, all neat and tidy, it had got in his eyes and was about 3-4 inches past his shoulders, so its now neat and shoulder length, he was very good, but sobbed through the whole thing, but sat still!
Weve also got the lorry booked for the house move!!!!!!!!!! argh!!!! we have the house from the 22nd but we are going up twice to decorate the kids rooms while mum has them and then the lorrys coming on the 1st march and we are off!!!! im soo scared/excited/anxious, i dunno how i feel, im torn if im honest. Its a huge adventure and its my chance to get to be in my own right, but i feel so guilty leaving my mum and the children, but i think she also needs it to, we depend on one another far far to much and both need a life! and most of all my children need space!!!
Well thats enough of me boring you, cant think of any other news, Oh a small piece, roo has decided we can have another baby!!!! we have the possibility of 5 bedrooms if we convert the attic which is half done and also theres an office type room which if we stole a few feet of the huge bathroom would be a decent size room!!! (its great having a builder/bricky/carpenter for a fiance) but now having the say so, ive decided we need to settle down, find our niche in leicester, have fun with these pair, im only 21 i have plenty of mum years ahead of me! but its very nice to know, one day!!!!
Well thats enough of me boring you all, Hope your all well and please feel free to bore the socks of me back!

hi laura glad things are all good
how exciting about the move thats come round so quick but it really does sound like you are doing the right thing and its so easy to stay in touch with people these days that you and your mum will be fine.
how is her pregnancy going? havent heard much from you on that front lately.
and fab news about having another at some point thats always something to look forward to
well i caught charlie's so-called virus which he had on his bday and we are just starting to both get better from it, which is nearly 3 weeks of being poorly now.
charlie has started using the potty a little bit but we not doing potty training as such, i've just brought a potty to have around the house and if he wants to sit on it he can, we've had a couple of successes bless him
he's also starting pre-school for 2 afternoons a week after half term, which i think will do both of us the world of good, and give both of us the chance to do our 'own thing' i want to try and go swimming one of the afternoons that he's there so i'm quite looking forward to it.
john has been keeping in touch alot with email, which is nice to wake up most mornings with a lovely email from him kinda keeps me sane and i'm off to the hair salon on tues which he organised as an early valentines pressie for me bless him. we are also planning a holiday for when he comes home which i'm sooo looking forward to, we were thinking of goin to disney land paris but now he's saying lets go to florida so if all goes well thats where we'll be going woohoo
there you go hunni i've bored you with my life at the mo, hope you all good and just remember the move is a positive thing and its the next adventure in you and your family's life
take care xxxxx

Thanks zoe, its nice to have a long message to read!
My mums doing ok, the kids are knackering her out alot, so being the kind or stupid people we are me and roo have been doing the shcool runs! Babys doing well, not one other health problem, they are also questioning the amnio results as his measurements are showing normal and they shouldnt! so who knows! We will wait and see and hell be baby jacob no matter what, shes 25weeks now!
Hope you and charlie are both healthy soon, weve all had a tummy bug which has been awful!
I need to start looking at nursery for jack hes three in july so could do with some independance, ill bet charlie will love it, and we all deserve some me time!!! Do let us know how he gets on!
Disney, that sounds fantastic! Ill want to hear all about it and see pics, i cannot wait to go again, i went a few times as a kid and once before jack arrived, we are planning to take the kids when theyre 3and4 and just started saving!
You must be sooo excited!
Not much news here, it was our neices 7th birthday today so we had a huge family meal at frankie and bennys, jack loved seeing his older cousins and we all had a lovely time,
We are also searching for a new car as ours isnt sounding to good so it needs to go as we doubt it will get through an mot and it only cost us 200 so not worth working on!
Also going to the what will be my local sure start centre tomorow with my sil! really looking forward to it and im hoping it will calm my nerves a little!
well there ive bored you all again! and im wondering where all our other regulars are, Jo? rach? Jade? and so on???

Glad everyone's well,Laura.Must be getting very excited about the move.Glad to hear things are going well with your Mum too
Hope you and Charlie are feeling fit again soon Zoe.Well done on the potty successes,Charlie. They all start somewhere. We've yet to get ours out for Matilda.I saw it in the cellar two days ago,but I can't face it just yet.Matilda sits on the toilet bath time, saying wee wee,but that's as far as we get,and then she and Whirly have a fight over who's turn it is to sit on the toilet.
Just boring here,I'm afraid.Just haven't had much time.I've been spending every evening chained to the sink, cos the washing machine's been out of action for weeksI finally bought myself a spinning machine to make the handwashing ,and certainly the drying,a bit easier but it still takes ages, cos you have to balance it and it is smaller than a washing machine....boring and time consuming, the last thing you want to be doing ten o'clock at night.Anyway, the proper machine gets fixed tomorrow.
Merlin's finally learnt to roll over, and back.Still not sitting for long before he forgets and falls down.
I finally took the Christmas decorations down last week in the front room and hall.Still Christmas in the playroom.Maybe we should just keep them up,be ready early for next year
So all rather boring here to be honest.

A teeny bit of me's feeling sorry for MIL,Laura.I hate my stuff getting broken, but Grandma's should expect these things,my Mum moves stuff, just like we do at home.
Washing nightmare over at last.Out of the dark ages.Till tomorrow. We had a letter last week.Between the hours of 8:30am and 16:30 tomorrow, and again in a weeks time, them that be, at the electric people are cutting off everyone's electric in our street. No heating, hot water, that's all electric,no washing or tumble,no telly,internet.....no cbeebies. But on the brightside I found our camping kettle in the cellar, and the cooker's gas so we'll survive.I'll miss my radio. But I will have tea...
08/02/2010 at 23:25
i felt awful! bloody kid they are the ONE thing in the whole house, well other than the fruit and veg rack but mil doesnt mind her having a munch on anything she fancies, that she shouldnt touch, i think they were just forgotten as its a low little unit and FIL was watching her so we take no blame, they were beautiful willow tree ornaments too!
Jo must be awful with no washing machine with that brood, we lost ours for a month and it drove me crazy, thank god for my mum and grandma!
No electric is even worse when we were cut off because of works we stayed at mums, no gas cooker etc ment it was impossible to stay there!
Well we have had a rather eventfull day, our car suddenly sounded awful, then roos seat fell out yesterday! Basically it was dying so i rapidly access an acount i shouldnt thanks to a softy of an uncle whos 'protecting it' his words not mine lol! and we have to find a car, impossible all bloody thousands which i dont have, eventually we found a lovely new shape fiesta black, just very very nice, bloke at garage sayes its a 1.3 great sayes we, FIL brings it home, we get about insuring it and its A BLOODY 1.8!!!!!!!!! thank christ we also discovered it was a diesel before roo filled up!! anyway gorgeous wee car and its only costing us an extra 20pm on the insurance, we are in love compared to our 18yr old 106 its a dream, this ones only 10! lol! we love it! AND the boots bigger so i dont have to take the wheels and mud gaurds off the buggy anymore!bonus!
Also sil took me to the local sure start which was lovely and i feel a bit more ready to move here, im also going to go kids go soft play tomorow, lifes looking good atm and we are all smiling like loons!

Oh,that's a bit sad,bye bye to your first car,but at least you have a new one. We've had a diesel for years now,you tend to get more miles for money although it's not the cheapest to buy but in the long run you fill up less.Bit more stinky, bit more noisy, and they can be a bit slower pulling away, but it's not like you're racing. It sounds like a nice little family car.Your insurance will get cheaper with age and experience,I hope it serves you well.
My first car failed an MOT on the passenger seat falling through the floor, never a good thing.I'll go away to my bed dreaming about that car though, first car's always special.I'd buy it tomorrow if I saw it...which is sad.
Glad everything's looking good.
09/02/2010 at 00:19
we were sad, but the noise it made was actually scaring us alot, and it stalled on the m1, andrew and jack are so in love with the new one they have long forgotten the peugeot already, even though jack sobbed when we moved carseats and stuff and the car was taken away, bless him!
We wont see ours again, we sold it for parts so thats it! that is sad! But it did serve us well considering in 6mnths we added around 10,000 to the clock constantly going to leicester and back and london/peteborough/kent and so on, never a week, well a few days went by without a 2-3 journey one way!
This new one is so much nicer tho, it makes the pug seem like such a hunk of junk! i will post pics when its daylight, you will see why it had to go! apparently the drive collum? and bearings had gone/going and the start motor was falling out! Good job we got shot of it really!
Its a bit slower pulling off but a far smoother ride than the old one and it can fly once its off, my whole family always have diesels as you get more miles for your money, Oh and NOTHING could be noisier than the old one, seriosly this one is like angels whispering compared!

Sounds like life is sweet Lau,vey good
I have a petrol,we wanted diesel, jus couldn't afford 1 you do save on fuel in the long run. Your car sounds sporty!!! Very nice, glad buggy fits in better. I clearly need to get out more-we've had our car over a year, only just clocked up 10,000 miles!!!!!!!
09/02/2010 at 23:37
roo f***** the key up for it, so the buggy is now TRAPPED in the boot, to get it out we have to remove the kids seats and flip the back seats inwards and get it through the back seats! i COULD KILL HIM!!!
He left the fuel tank cap on top of the car and its now lost and none of halfords fitted so off to the scrap yard with HOPE tomorow
hes also dyed jacks new ted baker top blue, it was white and two of lolas dresses!!!!!!!!!
bad day for roo!
We just have to go buy a new key tomorow, i think?
No idea if its sporty rach, it looks it and roo keeps going on about it being an LX but as you can imagine that goes over my head! it was only £400 through a dealer roos dad knew so we got lucky, he was gonna put it up for more but we cleaned it ourselves and said wed sort a new wheel which only cost £15 from another guy they knew! i love my new car!
