I'd always say Cyprus any time of year. Not sure if it would be in budget though.

We're planning to go mid May, and hoping to go to one of the Greek Islands.

Always Canaries that time of year. I have been to south Spain in May/June but it was cold.

Greece is lovely in May. We love Corfu, it's cool in the evenings in May but warm during the day.

Mainland Europe can be hit and miss in May: my mum lives in the south of France and done years it's roasting and others it rains. I'd go Greek islands or canaries for guaranteed weather

How about Italy? We went there on honeymoon and it was hot.

We're off to Salou, the weather has always been pretty good when we've been to spain in May. We don't want it too hot because of the babies, so hoping for sun and shorts and t-shirt weather.

I've been to Crete, Majorca, Ibiza and Fuerteventura in May. All have been mid/late 20's with just the odd morning of cloud etc.

Thank you all for the replys, Having costed it all out, The hotels and flight combos are a long way out of our budget, If it in budget it seems to have really bad reviews. Ive looked at all the destinations youve suggested.
Belle, I was ideally looking for some food included as this is what we seem to spend most monsy on whilst away. Ive never been abraod with the kids, Just Uk and we spend a fortune xx

Mdrubber, what dates are you looking at? We're going to Salou on the 14th May for two weeks, half board and it cost us £850. Our children are 2 and 1, so we're not really paying a lot for them, but the hotel is a reasonable 3 star with good reviews.
What dates are you looking at and how old are the kids? I've just done a week AL 20th May from London, 2 kids any blaerics and got a load for under £1500
