I usually do the ones that go under the tree whenever I've got a spare hour before the tree goes up, so I did those on Sunday, ready for our tree to go up this Saturday.
The kids', I usually spend a night when H is out, I get a nice bottle of wine, put on some Christmas songs when the kids are in bed and do them in one sitting, as I hide them at PIL's house, so get them during the day then take them back the next. With E getting older she doesn't go to bed until a bit later but by then I can't be bothered to sit for hours doing them all and I've stored them all at home this year so can do them whenever.
I'm going to do them in stages. I'm going to get a bag out at a time and do them, then put everything away and do more another night so I don't get sick. I'll try to do them when H is nightshift like tonight.
What about you?

I usually do them in me go but this year I've done half (a weekend when the kids stayed at my mum and day's) and the rest am going to attempt tonight.

I do all of mine on Christmas Eve. I have plans to do them in batches this year, but I just know I will end up doing them all on Christmas Eve again.

I hate wrapping. I've got two days off next week so will try and get some done then whilst everyone out.

Yes we have, Eleni has Tinkerbell paper and Jonah has Toy Story paper. I put Father Christmas gifts in stockings usually but have some plain red paper if the bits are too big!
Pip we can moan about our bad backs together in the morning.
ad - I always do different wrapping paper for my two. All our presents come from Santa so stocking presents is wrapped in their own paper. If I was to do stockings from someone else then I would get separate paper again.

I'm still in the process of buying them and as yet don't even have any wrapping paper! I usually do them by 'family' so that I can put them into the respective present bags - we don't leave anything under the tree and this year we are having to have a raised tree anyway because of the dog. I usually do them all in one go but I seem to remember last year this nearly finished me off so this year I think I will spread it out over the course of a few nights.

Sshh - God, I could never do my wrapping on Christmas Eve, I'd be far to stressed.
Kat, me too, I only work 2 days but am never on my own so can't get them done in the day.

Jojo - I only bought my paper on Sunday. We put families presents under the tree, although when J saw them he thought they were for him and got all excited shouting can I open them now.
05/12/2012 at 20:19
Ahh bless him, my J would be like that too. I have been known in the past to just do the wrapping on Xmas Eve, to "get into the spirit of it!" but I try to spread it out more now; age is getting the better of me! I can remember one Xmas, pre-child, I had all the presents laid out, wrapped, in the spare room, grouped according to person, by the 1st week of December. Now I don't even have a spare room!

I wrap them in order of when I am seeing people to dish them out. Now though the ones I have left are the kids and the family ones, so it all needs doing. I do some every now and then when I get time. I hate doing it all in one go, I like to take my time!
I will wrap in the evenings after Ned goes to bed. In front of the TV. I'll probably start late next week.
Then one evening H and I will hide in different rooms and do each others.

I love wrapping presents, I've wrapped and labelled all of ours, well apart from what H is giving me. Did the final bits on Monday, so it all done for me. Will stick bows on etc on Xmas eve when they come out otherwise they get all squished.

I did all the ones we have here on Monday then was meant to do the ones at mils yesterday but she did a disappearing act. I did my secret Santa and hs today and next week will do all the ones at mils next week. H will get those on Xmas eve. I was going to wrap them on Xmas eve but I want that night to chill out x

I'm going to do mine next week, our tree is going up this weekend (once I've painted and wallpapered the living room),and I need to finish the present buying first! Not feeling very festive yet, I think once the tree and decorations are up I'll feel more like it and I'll spend a night with a bottle of wine, a christmas film and a few rolls of sellotape! H needs to build M's scooter and things....need to get that out the way so I can think about the Christmas food shop and getting prepared for the visitors coming to stay. Ooh and I need stepson's bedroom decorated too
