I know it's all about eating less and moving more, but what do YOU do when you need to shift a few pounds?

For me the important thing is to find motivation to loose weight. If I can find something to inspire me then it is easy. Before it was having another baby. That's not going to happen now. My bad things are full fat coke. As of Monday I have cut that out again and bought 18 braeburn apples. So when I am craving something I have one of those. I have eaten 6 in the last 24 hours. Hopefully I will reduce in cravings before I go bankrupt buying apples. The rest of my diet is okay so it becomes fairly simple once I have that under control.

Like QI, I need to find the motivation! I do WW and go through spats of doing it to the letter and finding it easy and a couple of months at a time where I will find it really hard to stick to and do a few days of being good and then a few days of eating terribly and end up not shifting anything.
I have to take total control, portion size reduction and I cut out all snacks, just three meals a day, which are small. Exercise is harder because I detest it.

You see PB I end up doing the opposite and having more snacks!
That strikes a chord with me. I've been pootling along about half a stone over weight, knowing I need to loose it but not really bothered. Now we're thinking of going away in may its made me think I'd like to loose it to look better in my clothes iyswim.
H has completely cut out chocolate and crisps since Christmas and he's really made a difference.

I can't do ww or anything like that, it makes me think about food too much!

I cut out snacks and bread. I Only eat 3 meals a day anyway but for lunch I might have a sandwich and crisps, if I want to lose a few pounds I have a tuna salad or half a sandwich and a muller light and no crisps.
I try to exercise every day when I'm in the mood to lose weight

Cut out all snacks, smaller portions and eating much healthier. Walking lots with shredding! PJ xx

Lots more exercise! I find swimming is good. I like crisps and choccie too much to give them up totally.

Previously I've lost weight on weightwatchers, but since having C I've really struggled to stick to anything properly. I lost quite a bit 18 months ago on the Dukan, but when that went back on a few months later because I didn't continue it properly, I just couldn't stick to it properly again.
Currently doing the 5:2 fast diet, and although I'm finding the fast days fine, I'm struggling not to pig out too much on the non-fast day!
I used to exercise before C as well, but I just don't have the time these days between him, work and singing.

I cut out all choc/crisps and if I'm really going for it I cut out bread/potatoes too. Exercise makes a huge difference to me.

I've been using myfitnesspal to document my calories, it's made me think more about what I'm eating and how much. I've lost 12lbs since 1st January so it's obviously working!

i cut out all junk food incl takeaways crisps choc chips pizza anything like that. and the main one is booze. i do also up the exercise
