I did have the Easter holidays all planned out with activites to do with the children but unfortunately a lot of that has had to go on hold whilst we work out when we are moving. I haven't got anything planned for the summer holidays yet but need to start thinking about what we can do together. B has already requested South Lakes Wild Animal Park and Whitby. I had hoped to get to both of them over Easter. Hopefully we will get to some places though. Do you ahve preferred places to visit?

We do but I haven't really planned anything for this holiday yet. We're going away on Sunday for about a week, so that's sorted but this week we're just playing by ear. Our favourite places are the river in Maidenhead, where there's an island with guinea pigs and an aviary, a weir and ducks to feed as well as a little park and café, walking round the village here, sometimes to the farm shop, or through the woods nearby. I want to go to Runnymede as well, never been but supposed to be a nice walk as well as a Magna Carta information centre.

I would love to be a person who planned.
But I am more of a last minute kind of person.

I like to plan but haven't booked much up for this holiday apart from a weekend away with friends and a meet up tomorrow with other friends. I know by next week my daughter will be asking to see some of her friends (lots are away this week). I think she has so many things booked during the term she likes to have some unplanned days.
In the summer we've got a holiday booked and need to book in the grandparents for childcare. Not thinking about anything else at this stage!

I like to plan, but I don't plan what to do in holidays really, we mainly wing it.
I do ask my kids what they'd like to do, but I don't say we will definitely do it, incase things change. Couldn't deal with 2 disappointed kids, so we usually "plan" what to do on the day before.

I do like to plan but not too far in advance, maybe just the week before. I have lots of loose plans for the Easter hols but a lot of them depend on the weather so will set firmer plans by the end of this week I would imagine. My kids are dog tired at the moment so hoping to have plenty of lazy days and not rushing out the door first thing all the time. If weather is nice my kids are more than happy with visits to different parks with picnics.
