I had the nicest weekend I've had for a long time! Spa day Saturday which was lush, no treatments just enjoying the pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, lunch in peace with no kids was amazing! Did some reading which I never usually do anymore. Even got home to a tidy house which I wasn't expecting with H having the kids at home all day. Bless him, he did good.
Yesterday I had my 1st lie-in since I've had children think he finally got my many hints, then breakfast in bed and lots of cards and homemade pressies. Then H cooked lovely roast lunch and his mum came. He even sorted kitchen after! I took my 2 eldest swimming in the morning and they both did really well then I took them all to the local sand park in the afternoon.
Hope everyone else had a good one!

That sounds like a fab weekend Frankie!
I had a good one too. Saturday H went fishing, so me and the boys went to Hobbycraft, decorated eggs for the school competition then went to my parents, where Joshua stayed with Nana whilst Jacob, Naomi and me went for a walk with my dad to the church where we got married which was lovely.
Sunday was nice too, I got cards from the boys in bed, we had a lazy morning then walked to the farm for eggs and stopped at the pub on the way back for a drink. Unfortunately on the way home from there, Joshua tripped me up by accident and I fell over, grazing my knee, hand and chin - lots of blood and bruised pride. Lazy afternoon with N after that whilst H took the boys in the garden, and an early night.
Much better today though, just a bit achey!

Sounds like you both had lovely weekends, except for your fall of course Margot.
Mine was a bit hectic as we had a school fair on Saturday and a party for E on Sunday, but I did manage a nice lunch with a friend on Saturday which ended up being all afternoon. So nice to sit for a while and not worry about keeping children occupied.

I saw the family and got nagged about when I'll be having kids as per usual because all my neices and nephews were there. It was nice to see them all though, sticky, snotty kisses and all.

Didn't manage to unload the van on Saturday due to horrid headache. Saturday pm took son to math's class which he enjoyed. Then went over to Worcester, went to a park in Rushwick which was nice. Then dropped money off as friends kids had done a triathalon in aid of sports relief, 300m swim, 3 mile run and 5 mile bike ride. Pretty awesome as both under 11. Dropped off card and pressies at MIL. Sunday was lovely, Son had made me a card, went to church all the ladies were given daffodils, made a picnic lunch and went to a playground and for a walk round a lake. Descovered I had put the slow cook lamb in the cooker on auto not cook so had to bung it in the oven still tasted great. Went and helped at youth group. All in all great weekend. Also managed to dry two loads of washing in the garden.
