Don't judge me.
I accidentally shoplifted. I felt awful about it when I realised, though not awful enough because when I realised, I didn't go back to pay
i had O in the carrycot, and had the basket to the side (I've got a bugaboo donkey). I was in boots and picked out a bath mat I needed, and laid it on top of the carrycot. I went to the pharmacy bit for some hayfever advice and had expected him to just sell me something OTC, except he led me to a different aisle and recommended some nasal spray. As it was a tenner (a tenner!) I decided not to get it, and then walked out. I *had* intended to pay for the mat with the OTC stuff, but as I didn't get any, I forgot I had to pay.
it wasn't until I was literally the other side of bluewater that I realised it was still on top of O's carrycot. As I was literally the other side, and as I was intending on going home soonish, I didn't go back.
im totally paranoid now that the security guards had seen me, and put a message out on those radio things and all the shop assistants in the shops i went to before i realised were following me through their shops in case I nicked something else
i didnt even nick anything good
H has just told me to give a tenner to charity, which I'll do.

I was at blue water today!
Loads of people have done that-don't worry. I was in bexleyheath boots once and had Baby clothes on hangers hanging on my pram handle and just walked out. I got really far and saw them, I was mortified and took them back. The security guard wasn't even bothered!! I wish I had kept walking!

I'm going to feel guilty every time I shower now
Lauren, I'll PM you my mobile on FB, next time you're there, txt me and if I'm around I'll come join you for a coffee (if you want, of course!)

I nearly did this in waitrose this week with hairspray, try not to worry.
As for the nasal spray was it prevlin? it does work but see if you can get GP to write you a prescription for then it won't cost you a tenner. I paid for my first bottle but got the second via gp

Yes it was prevlin, drifter. I don't get hayfever badly so I think I'll just stick with clarityn if i need it (that's safe when BFing).

Is it the pharmacist wouldn't let me have any of the tablets because I am still BFing and when I rang the GP they said the same. Why do I ahve such rotton healthcare professinals at the moment. That said the prevling was fab. Hope charity donation has taken away the bathmat guilt

Only did a quick google and apparently the Clarityn active ingredient is the best possible option. Piriton's active ingredient (can't remember what it is) goes into BM and has an effect on baby.

I've done this a few times. Only a few weeks ago H and I were in Tesco and forgot to pay for a packet of nappies hanging on the handle of the buggy. and twice I've stolen a cosmetic from Tesco, once E was holding it in his hand and another time it had fallen to the bottom of the trolley and slid under my change bag. Then another time I've put a bottle of squash into the bottom of the buggy and forgot to pay for it. I did think each time maybe a helicopter would suddenly swoop down as I drove out of the carpark but I never felt bad enough to go back!
Funnily enough I've never done it pre-children shows you how absentminded kids make you!

I'll confess to being much worse than you girls. I started tennis lessons a while back so went to the sports shop and got two tshirts, a tennis racket, tennis balls and swimming goggles for M. When she rang the stuff up I didn't think she'd charged me right, and I didn't say a word. Checked my receipt when I got back to the car and turns out I got a free tennis racket that day, she hadn't scanned it
