It's C's birthday party on Sunday, and apart from sending the invitations, and then chasing a couple of people last week, then confirming numbers with the farm and what animal cake C would like since I haven't got any time to make one (he decided on a sheep), I have done and won't be doing anything else!
It feels like something must have been forgotten, but the farm are doing food, etc, party boxes with sweets and toys, cake (as mentioned) - anything else I might have missed?

Bought & wrapped his presents?
Got his outfit sorted? Yours?
Are you doing party bags? Napkins for the cake to take home. Candles?

Bought his presents, not wrapped yet, although his birthday isn't until a couple of days later
Outfits for a farm? Jeans, a top and boots for us all I did manage to get C an "I am 4" top from ebay
Party bags? - they give out party boxes with little toys and sweets - I don't think we need to give out anything else
napkins - I'm guessing they do them since they supply the boxes and cake, maybe I'll stick some in the car in case.
Candles - would guess they'd have them too, but I'll take some with me.

Well, I think that you are sorted then, unless you want to get balloons and decorations for his actual birthday?

Yey, good to know
I'm so busy this week I might not even make it to a shop - MrDD is off work on Monday though so he can get anything for his actual birthday then. We've got literally hundreds of balloons at home (ILs gave them to us, no idea why they had so many!) so won't be buying any more of them!

Sounds good, I would feel so redundant though. I can't decide what to do for Liam this year. I am thinking *another* big party because he is starting pre-school attached to his Primary School in August and it would be good to meet some of the parents?

We chose somewhere like that because I knew I wouldn't have time this week to organise anything! I quite like the parties for that reason Kellfi, to meet the parents of the children he plays with, although I only know of one who will be going to the same primary school with him.

Yep, I do as well, its hard when you don't do drop-offs and pick-ups I find. How many you got coming? I end up hiring a hall because with his family, there are 11, then I have neighbours, that is another 6, then my friends children, that is about another 10, so I can't afford farm parties or softplay lol.

I do most of the drop offs, but everyone turns up at different times so you don't see the same ones and everyone is always in a rush!
We've got 20 coming in total (including C) - every single person accepted the invitation! 12 from his nursery, and the other 7 friends children who he knows.
18/04/2013 at 10:17
How much did that cost per head? They are about £6.50 per head for softplay here, I have about 40 usually.
18/04/2013 at 10:20
Nearly £12 a person I was hoping some would say no! The soft play were cheaper, although not that cheap, but the farm just seemed a bit different and they get to do loads of things at the party like pony rides, tractor ride, feeding the animals, holding the rabbits and guinea pigs. He won't be having this much spent on a party next year!

I would love to have an outside part y for L, but with his birthday being 31st October, no chance
Thats not bad though with all food, party bags etc.
