I'm bloody cross with myself because the last one I had was back in Feb and I had hoped I was done with all that.
I was looking at party stuff for B's birthday and it came over me in waves. I ended up leaving withotu getting anything. Not really sure how I can organise a party if party stuff brings ona panic attack`

I was on my own and was trying to plan out what I needed to do for the party and then started thinking about B's birthday party last year and having to tidy everything away after the party on my own after Ex left.

It sounds like it wasn't about the party stuff itself, but about the memories of what happened at the same time as the last party. Have you got a list of things you need to do/get so you don't have to churn it over in your head? Just keep it really simple, lots of paper plates and disposable stuff so that you can just shove it all in binbags at the end and not have to spend hours cleaning up.
You'll get there x

Oh QI that sounds horrible.
Someone on DW recommended this book to deal with anxiety etc and I've been reading it and its helping, I'm not great all the time by any means and I'm ill and low at the moment but I'm able to see the triggers that make me feel so low and that sounds like what happened - you thought about last time and then had a panic attack. I do think its worth a read.

My mum suffered with panic attacks in shops for years. She was taught some relaxation techniques in the end. So if she felt one coming on, she would start her deep breathing abd crouch down as if looking at something on the bottom shelf and zone out until it passed.
