I just had to phone the hotel in front of ours to complain about the noise levels. Live Spanish music blaring into our apartment and it's woken E up 3 times. It's now almost 11pm and I was so fed up. Our windows were vibrating which is scary when you're on the 36th floor! H won't complain, he's a wimp so I had to. I said they had 15 minutes to reduce the noise or I'd call the police I didn't actually mean it but 6 minutes later (literally) the music can hardly be heard in here! I'm such an old lady aren't I?!

It can't be bad to complain if you got a positive result
I feel like a grump though!!

I would have done the same, good on you. It's not fair when the babies are trying to sleep

Haha glad I'm not the only grump! I do think that when a hotel is in the middle of a residential area, they should be courteous to that fact. There was however, a time not too long ago when rather than complain, I'd have been part of the party How things have changed since children.

Thats thing thing when you have kids. Things you'd have never worried about really annoy you. I was furious when one of our neighbours had fireworks and let them off at 10pm when our daughter was a baby (needless to say she slept through it). Before children it wouldn't have bothered me at all.
