My new job is bloody fab but the only downside is I miss being able to nip out to the shops at lunchtime and be able to buy whatever is needed. I don't get in until 7pm so going out once L is in bed isn't really an option. I'm going to have to really forward plan shoping trips now.

I used to work somewhere next to a fairly big retail park, plus two big supermarkets - now where I work we have a co-op! It's good for saving money

Yeah still London

Oh right, just not near any shops?? You'll have to forgive me, I'm a country bumpkin so imagine London as somewhere you can get to some shops whichever part you're in!!!

I'm near Covent Garden but they don't have the shops I need on this occassion. Where I used to work I had the 3 major shopping streets of London outside my office. Bond Street, Oxford Street and Regent Street. Now I have stupid tourist places with just a teeny tiny selection of shops and not one that sells kidswear that I can see.

Small world - used to work near Oxford Street (Wimpole St) and now near Covent Garden-ish (off Strand). Working in West End is great....
