I'm mad right?
I have a 21 month old who would adore it (and probably sit on it), we go away for weekends sometimes and I would hate to be woken up even earlier than I am already. Plus N would probably try and eat its food. Oh and H doesn't do animals.
But I really want a furry grey lion of a kitten.
Someone please tell me how much hard work they are and put me off?

Kittens are a horrendous amount of work... although cats are considerable less. But if you want to influence its personality you would want to get a kitten and see my first point! (speaks the woman that until a fortnight ago had four cats).

Not sure I can help. Our cat was hard work for about 3 weeks with keeping us up all night with her crying and noise but now 5 years on I would not be without her. R loves our cat and is really nice to see them together.
We had a few close calls when he was younger with tail pulling etc but he soon learnt not too.
Sorry I didn't help at all!
