That is I am feeling unreasonable but I don't care!
gRRR....how different a mum and dad are hey?
This morning H gets up and within an hour has gone away for 2 nights. There is more to it than that, but thats the gist of it. If I go away it takes weeks or organising and stressing and packing and making sure the kids are ok.
I need beer!

I know exactly how you feel!! My H went off walking (14 miles) with his brother today which is something he loves doing (weirdo!) and he had a lie-in, got up about half an hour before he had to leave, got himself ready and just left!! If that had been me I'd have been up with the kids early, getting them dressed, breakfasted etc before I left, given him instructions on what to feed/leave nappies in accessible place, wipes, change of clothes etc and it would have been a lot of work and stress for me! Men have it sooo easy!

Ahhh, similar things here. My H got up 10 mins ago, and has gone out fishing...
So, that'll be me and the kids left to entertain ourselves today then. HE is the one who moans we don't get much time together, as he works away all week. I get grief if I want to go out, as "we have hardly seen each other". It's OK though, i'm looking for some pretty stuff online, he can buy me when he gets back...

Ah I've made this point to my H so many times... His mornings when not at work consist of waking, laying on his phone in bed, going for a nice long shower with music playing, trying on his clothes and seeing what looks nice and leisurely strolling into the lounge to announce he is ready!
Mine consist of being woken up by E, having to jump to make her bottle ASAP, changing her, dressing her, packing her baby bag with anything not usually stocked, trying to amuse her while I shower, shoving my hair up cos there is no time to attend to it, grabbing the first thing in the wardrobe, putting my make up on quickly while rocking her bouncer, sterilising bottles, putting in washing, making bottles ready for going out, collapsing the pram for the car etc etc etc!

Ha ha! We all went out for the day yesterday. It took me about two hours to pack the picnic, organise spare clothes, Wellies, dig out the picnic rug etc. h had a lie in, came down to 3 dressed and fed children and grumped because I sent him to the garage for buckets and spades. Ok we didn't need all the spare clothes, but we would have done if they weren't in the car!
