Had a hard day selling bump-baby sale. Made £73 & that's not including the £65 I made selling garden toys & his leap pad

I'm enjoying a beer so will join you

P.s. did you feel the sale was worth it then? I have masses of old toys but I don't know what to do with them - options are I guess ebay, boot sale, charity or tip. I should go in the garage and sort them into four piles but I'm too scared of the enoooooormous spiders in there!

Drinks are on you then. That's a good result.
I could do with some vino. Had a run in with my neighbour, and have an intense urge to knock her head off. Might send H to the shop.

That's good going. Wish I drank as I could do with one today.

I started at lunch time as we've had friends over. I've had cava and several glasses of wine. Now have the urge to eat crisps and other nonsense!

Good news kelfi. I will be joining you all in the bar, between making&eating tea. H & his stupid running obsessionis doing my head in. I'm finding things to do so i don't have to stand &listen to a blow by blow account of his latest run and subsequent injury.

Ooh, Raincloud, that sounds like my H when he was training for a half marathon. In the end he did his knees in and hasn't run as much since. But the descriptions of where and how he ran did get a bit tedious.

I'm nursing some rose wine and it's going straight to my head!
AK - What happened with the neighbour?

I'm still waiting for H to get me a glass of wine - sounds lazy I know - but the deal in our house is I get up with the kids early every single morning so once I've done my jobs and sat down in the evening it's H who has to wait on me a bit ha ha. Plus he's been out enjoying himself all day so I've been on my own with 3 kids all day so I deserve spoling!

Cedar - My H is training for london marathon, he was supposed to do it last year but got injured so this has been going on for 2 years now. He seems to pick up a 'new' injury every few days, and complains about it, but honestly, no one is making him do this but himself! He did a half marathon last week and got a PB, which is wonderful but after watching in the cold for a few hours, luggging all his extra clothes, shoes etc around and then having to navigate all the crowds, I really didn't need to know every single thing that happended during the race! Once the marathon is over he has promised to go into retirement, so I am counting down the days!

H woke her up this morning at 9.30 by shouting at SS. She posted a letter saying she works nights, and to have more consideration. The way it was worded pi$$ed me off, so I sent a sh!tty reply. This is after her H regularly wakes J up at night by shouting at their teenagers, and her son playing his electric guitar loudly, waking up J in the process, and I have never complained.
So I said SHE should have some consideration.

I am on the wine.
That sucks AK. Thankfully we have never had a run in with our neighbours here. Closest was when their dog was barking furiously for about an hour after midnight and H and I went round to investigate. Peeked through the window and the guy looked dead on the couch and wouldn't respond to door bell, knocking or banging on the window so we called the police. Turns out he was pissed as a fart and VERY embarrassed as he is an ex cop.
