The kind that last about 3 weeks. I can't remember who uses them in here - is it Nina and Kelfi? Just want some advice please!
I was hoping to get them done in about a week when I'll be just over 38 weeks pregnant, the hope being I'll still have them for the first few days of baby when there will be lots of photos but I imagine I'll be too lazy to wear make up or mop up my panda eyes in between naps and hormonal outbursts Just wondered what happens though when I don't get them refilled after three weeks - not saying I won't ever, but obviously not with a tiny new baby to deal with. Will they just fall out, or do they take all your natural eyelashes too? Guess I'm asking if it's ok to get them as a one off or once you do, do you have to upkeep them?
Also, how much do you pay for the full lot, just so I can compare a few places on what's 'normal' to pay - I don't want to go too cheap and them not work, but don't want to get ripped off either!

I get them done, they last about 3-4 weeks on me then they start falling out, I have had an odd eyelash come away, but mainly they are ok. I think that my own lashes are shorter than they originally were, but that might be because the other ones are so long. you can use baby wipes to take them off as well or you can buy false eyelash remover.
I have a woman that comes to the house to do mine, they are £30, but if I got them done in a salon, they are about £50-£70
I was thinking the other day, your pregnancy seems the longest ever lol

Ha ha, I know - it's gone quickly in some ways but I actually can't remember not being pregnant now - or what it feels like to have a normal bladder and not waddle!
Wow that's a big difference price wise between a home sess and a salon, thanks, I'll definitely ring round a few places. The salon I get my eyebrows waxed at is £40 so perhaps not bad then.
And I have a massive stack of baby wipes ready for LO, so it sounds like they will come in handy for me too!

£40 seems good to me for salon prices love.
Ha, you will miss your bump when its away

I bet I will, I do love the wriggly little thing!
Thanks for your help - am going to book with my local then, and instruct baby to arrive after that, but while they're still in and looking good

I've had them before, a few different types. The best ones I've had are Nouveau lashes and they we the pricey ones at £60. They easily lasted 5 weeks without the I fills though. I've had individual ones on a bulb and I took them off after two days as they were so annoying.

Ah, I didn't realise there were different types, other than those five day party ones. Ill try and check with the salons which brand they do then, thanks Pip, as I'd love them to last a week or two longer and it would be worth paying a bit more for those.

I do mine myself. I buy the stuff off eBay, ardell lashes in different lengths, remover and glue. I havent even used the remover in all the months iv been doing it. Last a couple of weeks before they start needing refreshing. I kinda pull them off but they are loose after a couple of weeks. Cost about £11 for glue removed and pack of lashes, but this does a few sessions
