We are having a party for Es 2nd birthday but as she doesn't go to nursery or anything it's more family and a few of my friends.
Do you think it looks cheapy to design an invitation and email / what's app / Facebook people the invite?
Ive just been to a family party where we just received a text and that was fine With me!
something along these linea (quick example from google)

The last few invitations my boys have got, have been via text. Works for me, got the info easily accessable.
I do love a proper invite though, but nothing wrong with FB/text etc.

Don't see why it should be a problem. Particularly if its family& close friends.

I just think it's pointless spending money on having invites printed and then delivering them when Im going to be doing a pig roast sort of thing as well as party food and hiring a bouncy castle etc and my budget isn't huge!

If it's just family and close friends I probably wouldn't bother paying out for 'proper' invitations or anything. For F's little birthday gathering a few weeks ago, I just sent a message round on FB.

AK how do you get them free?

Have you ordered from them before?
I get a few emails a week, offering free stuff (just pay P&P)
Or just sign up, they might send you the emails then.

I'm so disorganised with stuff like that I think it's easier for me to just text!
