I've had a really crap start to the year but I always hate January/Feb/March anyway. I just feel fed up and low, extremely low energy and tired. Anyone else? I'm struggling to make myself do fun stuff with the girls which then makes me feel guilty. I really need a kick up the bum. I'm fed up with the house not being as clean/tidy as I'd like but then I don't do anything about it cos I'm knackered and got no energy - plus my youngest is teething badly and when she's not sleeping I have to hold her ALL the time. Please tell me it's not just me feeling like this!!

Not just you, we all are craving sunshine by now!
The best way to deal with things is to JFDI!
If I feel low, I make sure I get up shower get dressed make up etc.
Then I crack on with what needs doing - before getting on the sofa with the laptop!

I am not too bad, but think that it is a common thing through these miserable months

You're right 1stbaby I know I need to stop moaning and just do it. I did some painting with my 2 year old this morning whilst my smallest was having a nap but then I just ended up on the settee after with a cuppa and surfed on here! Now youngest is awake and is clung to me & I'm wishing I'd made the most of my time whilst she was asleep! God I really need to get a grip tbf

Its been a really gloomy couple of months - not much natural sunlight around which doesn't help. Plus having a clingy baby doesn't help. And lets face it, a 2 year old and a five year old can easily untidy any room within five minutes of it being tidied.
Do you have a to do list for the day? Then tick off one or two things before you sit down for the cuppa You'll feel better knowing you've achieved one or two things that you meant to do.

Do you know what Cedar, that's exactly what I need - a list!! IT always helps to be able to tick stuff off, thanks.

Deffo lists rock.
I promise myself I will do 2 or 3 things then sit in peace for 5 mins. But remember it is nice to just sit and play with your kids for a bit too - the housework will still be there in the morning!
