We got a big shop of drink last Thursday and we are already into it. We bought lots of boxes of Budweiser and 3 bottles of sparkling Rose. We drank all 3 bottles of the wine and a few boxes of the buds
We also bought sweets, chocolate and crisps and dips which have all been opened.
We've decided its a good idea not to buy anymore treats until nearer Christmas

Yep! I've done half a bottle of gin since Sunday & we've demolished two packs of ritz and a tub of celebrations. Im so weak!

Ha ha me as well, I have no will power when I know what's lurking in my cupboards and shed. I told H we couldn't buy the tin of Heroes he wanted because they would all be gone in a few days.

We need to stock up more but will have to wait until the 22nd, otherwise I'm going to be the size of a house and my liver will be complaining if I buy stuff any earlier.

I've not done any food or drink shopping yet!

H brought in the alcohol at the weekend, he's working his way through a crate of lager and I'm polishing off the second bottle of wine as we speak....I'm never so fussed about thechocs but can't resist the alcohol

I've managed to ignore the tin of Quality Street my H bought weeks ago by putting it out of sight and pretending its not there. I would probably have opened it last weekend but a tummy bug proved a very good way of stopping me! I find the alcohol much easier to resist starting. I've noticed my H is increasing the number of treats he buys at the supermarket - I gave him the shopping list so he could pop in on his way home from work, no treats on it, funny how the Pringles managed to find their way into the trolley!

No, we used to always do this so last year we stopped buying all the treats to the week before. I get saving stamps to save the expense, so we haven't bought any yet. But I can already feel the weight piling on again as there's so much I want!!!

We haven't bought any Christmassy food yet other than a Christmas cake which I will be saving! (MrDD doesn't like it, so no point making my own so I bought a little one for me and C).
I did however eat one of the chocolate oranges I'd bought for a present yesterday though

I leave it at my Mums. No temptation there. My Mum has hidden hers in the spare bedroom, so my Dad can't eat or drink any of it.

Nope, but then i've not really bought much christmas food yet anyway. All i bought it two boxes of Cadbury heros, one went in the advent calender, and the other went to my hair dressers as a thank you. We're only having christmas dinner just the 4 of us, so i aren't getting much different than i would for a normal shop really. Just a few bits to take my sisters for Christmas tea, and then some nice bits for christmas eve tea.

My shopping delivery is coming on the 23rd, it'd be gone otherwise.

Ove got Quality Street open but have had one in a fortnight, not bad going!

Somehow no. We bought the booze Tuesday and its still there. I tried to open the Quailty Street but MrB took the tub before I could open it. We're doing our shop next week on nectar points.

I'm not sure when we'll do our proper shop, no doubt it'll be 10pm ish one night before Xmas - as we live on ann army garrison I am praying that everyone decides to go home for Xmas and it'll be dead..... Wishful thinking?! H has never done an Xmas shop and insists it's "part of the Xmas experience" and that we must do it together, which will be just wonderful at 38+ weeks pregnant - wonder how many times i'll need to stop to use the loo!
However when I did this weeks online shop, Tesco had 3 bottles of Coke for £3 and pringles for half price, plus BOGOF on Doritios this week, so I've bought and hidden those from MrLM, who is terrible at muching goodies. I'm planning on buying no booze, we have an awesome amount building up here as we don't drink in the house and yet keep buying booze.. We've a nice bottle of Grey goose I am going to hide until post baby though as that's my treat!
