Thanks :) I am sure they would but prefer to be away from baby talk atm...I am sure that will change soon but atm :) Its a shame this has died tho

I think QI is actually over there trying to drum up random chat ATM but i get you staying over here. My husband would tell you I'm great at chatting cr@p if you want company.
I'm 30, vom!! Originally from Manchester, married a scouser and now live in Liverpool. I love it here, I'm a SAHM, but that will probably change come next year when my littlest starts nursery. The pros expect of looking for, being interviewed, and going into a work place now scares the poop out of me, but ay! My eldest goes back to school tomorrow and I'm fuming that the sun finally comes out today after quite a miserable summer!

Haha I think my husband would say the same tbh! I love a good chat! Even the midwifes were having a great chat on the weekend!
Oh no about the sun always typical isn't it! I said to mum it's like it gets to summer hols and the weather changes and then changes back once they go back! Good luck with looking for a job do you know what you want to go and do?
I am 26, Living in Dorset, Originally lived in Somerset and Cornwall :) I am a house wife due to a disability :(.

I used to work in the Trafford centre in various shops, shop work isn't ideal now though as with obviously not living too near my mum I'd kinda need to be about school holidays. I've done office work for my dad for about 5 years before I had S, but tbh I hate computers and really don't want to go there again. A job in the school, even playground duty or anything would be amazing but probably few and hard to get. So who knows!
We were in st Ives for three glorious days over the summer for a family wedding. It was one of the most beautiful areas, your so lucky to have roots in Cornwall. Are your mum and dad still with you or have they gone home?
02/09/2014 at 13:39
So you have experience in everything so at least your find something! Schools would be perfect but I guess a lot of mums look into that to fit in with kids! Good luck anyways!
Oh I love St Ives I love the old cobbled streets! My mum is still here dads gone back too pick up a few bits and bobs he will be back later this week.
Its quite nice to have them around. They are the ones that live in Cornwall so free holidays! Lol

Hello ladies. I often look in here but I never think to start a post!
I'm 27, live in West Sussex. Currently on maternity leave but normally work as assistant manager at a campsite. I am also a master in waffling total cr@p - in fact it's probably my specialist topic ;)

02/09/2014 at 16:36
I think its a good idea :)

Although it does seem a bit like we've already created one in this thread! Does anyone else watch daytime TV? Any particular favs or ones you avoid? Since on maternity leave the TV is pretty much on all day whether I'm watching it or not!
02/09/2014 at 16:56
Start a new tv thread we can get a few threads going :)

Hey ladies.. I'll post if others do. I'm 30 and live in Essex but originally from Kent. I'm a copywriter by trade but gave it up to look after the kids...currently on maternity leave from a little part time job in Sainsburys.
My current fave daytime shite is Judge Rinder...cross Judge Judy, Jeremy Kyle and Louie Spencer and you've got it in one!!
02/09/2014 at 17:20
I watched Judge Rinder today for the first time... it's blatantly a copy of Judge Judy! He is incredibly camp too which I found amusing. To start with I wasn't keen but I did end up watching the whole show so must of been something addictive about it :D

Hi there, I am 43 so positively ancient compared to everyone else. I got married in October 2006. I had been working as a postdoc in medical research at the Uni of Birmingham but just before getting married came to the end of a contract. I then fell pregnant five days after marrying. Once my son was due to start reception I became a lunchtime supervisor at my son's school. Liked the children but never really felt I knew what I was doing. Applied for loads of jobs had five interviews and eventually got a job as a school science techician. I just work term time and love my job and work great hours quarter to eight to 3.35 everyday. Might be considering studying further. I love a good chat.
