A local bike shop has been amazing all year. Friendly proper old fashion style service and doing work on my bike (aka my car substitute) that other places would have charged for. In return I have spent £250 on a new bike from them. As a thank you, I had the idea to make mincepies as a thank you for all the extra work over the year. MrB thinks they've have had their thank you in how much we've spent and being sentimental. Do I listen to him or to myself? It takes no more effort to make them.

I think that its nice to be nice and if you want too, you make them some. Lovely idea, I bet that they will be really grateful

I think that's a great idea. We are all so quick to complain when we get bad customer service yet rarely comment on excellent service. I bet they will be chuffed and mince pies are a great idea as they can eat them in a tea break.

I think it's nice. We had new neighbours move in last year who made mince pies and biscuits and took them round to all the neighbours here, I love it when people do things like this.

i think its a lovely idea. doesnt cost much but is really thoughtful, and is a nice way to let them know they're getting customer service right- which so many shops dont!

I think it's a nice idea, also by showing you appreciate them they will continue to go the extra mile should you need help on new bike!
