I have a first interview for a job next week. It's for a customer advisor in a bank. Suit? Or smart skirt/trousers and top?

I'd probably go for trousers/skirt and a smart blouse, I'd feel more comfortable in that than a suit. Good luck!

Do you have a suit? I'd always do suit unless told otherwise.

I don't have a suit that fits, but then I don't have any worky stuff that fits! I'd be more comfortable in a smart top and trouser combo, but as its a bank wondered if a suit would be more appropriate.

Do the staff in the bank wear suits? I know some don't.

Not sure. It's Barclays if that helps.

What day is the interview? I have lots of work clothes of various sizes. I would say skirt/blouse if you don't have a suit.

If you have a suit then wear it. If your buying something then buy a suit if you can or at least a blazer. I tend to wear a shift dress then blazer for interviews, I can't stand suits, I get all irritated in them.

Suit all day long - you can't be overdressed for an interview

I worked for Barclays. Is it the Bracknell branch?i know loads of the managers still. Fb me if you want any advice! They have a uniform. Smart trousers and a blouse will be fine. Good luck!
