Long weekend in Isle of Wight over the Easter school holidays. We're also tagging on a trip to Peppa Pig World seen as we are down that way.
It's nice to have something to look forward to. Louie is going to be really excited.

Ah really wanted to go PPWorld last year, sounds great! L will love it!

Have you done Thomas Land SW? L wants to go there too.

C loved Peppa Pig world, shame we went on the hottest day of the year!! There is no shelter from anything there, but an amazing day out. Try and look around the rest of Paultons Park too as PPW is only a small part and the rest of the park has loads to offer too xx you will have a fab time xxx

How long do you tink we need at PPW? The plan is to either leave at the crack of dawn and avoid traffic on 25, or leave bit later, say 9, but that doesn't give us all day at the park. We're going to stay in travelodge that night then get ferry the next day over the solent.

I'd go early, it's going to be busy if its the holidays, and the park is quite big. There are lots of facilities for you to take a picnic, and it's quite expensive to eat there.

Get there early. Usual advice is to do Paultons first and then head to PPW in the afternoon when the queues have died down. PPW is always rammed but the rest of Paultons isn't too bad and there are some good rides in there as well.
We booked our Easter break this week as well. We are having a long weekend at Bluestone. I;ll be about 32 weeks by then so not up to much and there's plenty there to entertain the other 2 while I take myself off to the spa for a massage!

Thanks ladies, early it is. We can stay til closing if we need to as we will be sleeping down there. Yay!
Morph, that sounds just what you need at 32weeks. Enjoy!

We went to the Isle of Wight last year for our summer holiday and had a fab time. There's so much to do and nothing is very far away so there wasn't too much driving. We'll definitely go back sometime.

We love the IOW Cedar. I holidayed there every year as a child, and we try and take the kids back when we can. I've family over there now, 2 aunts in Sandown / Lake area. I'm looking forward to going over again and catching up ith everyone and visiting a few fav pubs!

Oh that sounds fab, I bet L will love it!
We went to Thomasland for a day last September and C had a great time.

It's somewhere I've always wanted to go. Paultons Park is great because there's a variety of stuff to do. When I went years ago they had a farm-y bit with animals to
Pet and feed.

Oooh fab, I would love to go there. Have fun dude. I have the travel agent calling me back today with EuroDisney prices for later in the year. Are we going to try meet in Blackpool this year?
15/01/2013 at 10:49
I don't think we can afford another break but will let you know if things change. Let me know on prices for Disney too. Be interested to know

Ok. I want to go somewhere over Easter as well, just a Sun hol or Haven or something like that
15/01/2013 at 10:56
That's all ours is. £99 for 3 nights. Worked out cheaper to book direct with definite dates than to risk the Sun.

we are going to the Isle of Wight in June. Never been before so would love some hints and tips. staying a cottage with my M&D, sister and her family.

I have just looked, it was £260 direct and they have no availability on the Sun. We have to go over a weekend, so that M can work. I wonder if my mum would come with me if I went through the week, I am on hols that week
