The list I have for L's party is:
Food: ham, cheese, jam sandwiches, cocktail sausages, squeezy yoghurt pouch, grapes & strawberries, crisps, pink wafer biscuits, chocolate fingers, jammy dodgers
food platters, plates, bowls, napkins, tablecloths, kitchen roll, bin bags, cellotape, bluetac
banners, posters, balloons
Tea / coffee MILK for adults, tub of biscuits and beers
Am I missing anything?

how are you doing the kids drink? cartons? jugs of squash?-need jugs and cups, straws? I went a party where they bought large bottles of water and tipped a bit out and added squash to these to save on jugs.
I would take some kitchen foil or boxes to take home left over food if you don't want to throw it away at the end.

Sugar for the tea and coffee?
Enough napkins for eating, and also wrapping cake in?

We do Calypso cups or water so no need for lots of cups (the hall provide these anyways)
Sugar and knife! Well done, forgot the knife last year and Milk for the tea, had my mum running out to get the last min bits once party had started lol

will you have to wash up at the end? will the hall have washing up liquid, tea towels etc?

Yes we may have the cups to wash up afterwards but the kitchen stuff is all available. Good thinking though.

Thank you Belle, Its E's birthday party on Saturday and you've reminded me of loads of things I need to take, including milk.
Is that all the food your doing? When I told H that's what i was planning he said I need to do more variety. I was thinking of doing some cold pizza's too, but surely anything else just won't get eaten.

I'm being really strict on food this year. 1 - because it will be served at 3pm so kids will have eaten lunch yet still require dinner once the party is over and 2 - it never gets fully eaten. all they want is sandwich yoghurt and cakes or chocolates. Previous parties I've done hot pizza / cold pizza / chicken nuggets / sausage rolls / carrots & cucumber but it's only ever nibbled at by a few kids.
CurlyWurly offered the yogurt pouches at Molly's party in September and I've never seen the kids clear a platter so quickly - more so than with chocolate biscuits so that is my new number 1 offering.

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind as I really don't want lots of wasted food.
