Hi Brickey, welcome to the site.
Bleeding is actually quite common during pregnancy & can be for a number of reasons (implantation, where your placenta is lying, how sensitive your cervix is, ligaments/muscles overstretching as things grow/move). As long as you aren't doubled over with pain then you shouldn't have too much to worry about.
The one thing I would say is if you are correct on your dates you need to make your appointments a.s.a.p. now. You should be 'booking in' between 6-10wks with your community midwife team to discuss your family medical history and take blood tests to determine your blood group and other certain tests, your dating scan should take place between 10-14wks to be able to include certain tests for baby and you will be advised and possibly provided with additional vitamins/supplements to take during your pregnancy (Folic Acid, Vitamin D and Iron are some of the more common ones).
Best wishes and good luck.

Every pregnancy is different. My eldest daughter the only sign I had to remind me I was pregnant was a growing bump. I had a complete panic with my youngest as I did bleed what was effectively a 15wk long light period with nausea, headaches, nosebleeds and dizzy spells all on top.
What makes pregnancy both exciting and scary is nobody can tell you exactly what will happen whilst you are pregnant and nobody can tell you what your baby will be like at the end. One thing I can promise is you will come to love feeling baby grow inside you, you will get through the birth focused on meeting your baby and whatever baby you end up having you will almost instantly feel has always been with you.
Best wishes and hope you have a happy and healthy 9mths.
