    PM

As I've said in my other thread, its my last day in work for 3 weeks.  Tonight H is out so I'm going to watch Elf with the kids.

Tomorrow I'll be at the gym first thing, after all the chocs I've been eating I need to work some of it off.  In the afternoon E is in panto so I'll be dropping her there and then chilling for the afternoon.  Friday night will be a few drinks and some games with the kids.

Saturday morning I'll be going to a body blast class at the gym.  In the afternoon I'm taking E ice skating and to the Life Centre in Newcastle to watch a 4D motion sleigh ride and H is taking J to the Sunderland match.  Then we are going to meet up in a pub around the corner from us for a couple of drinks.  Saturday night a few drinks and a take away.

Sunday we are just going to have a chilled out day.  We might go to the cinema to see Frozen, has anyone seen it?  Is it any good?  Sunday night E's friend is sleeping over.

Tomrrow (our weekend) we shall be on a plane heading to the Emerald Isle and going to freeze!!!!

The afternoon will be spent unpacking, putting the tree up and hoping for a small doze after having to get up at stupid o'clock while trying to stay awake past 9pm due to the time difference.  All of which will prob not happen as family will be popping in and out.

Saturday we are off to see the man himself at a farm so see some animals too which R will love and going with family so hopefully lots of fun

My plans are up in the air this weekend. We're supposed to be going to soft play tomorrow but I'm in 2 minds now because the girls are incredibly tired and I wonder if the 1st day of school hols should be a pj day instead to allow them to recharge their batteries a bit?  Saturday may visit Father Christmas at one of the local garden centres. Carol singing late afternoon.  Sunday we may go to a children's Christmas party which is completely free inc. food, presents from Santa, face painting, crafts, games etc. I think we're going to see how we feel and take each day as it comes!

    100% child free.

H wants to go Christmas shopping, to get his kids something else (I am so against this, but keeping my mouth shut), and to get a replacement present for J, as one we ordered never turned up. I think he is buying my present too.

I want to blitz through the house again, as Monday is the last bin collection before Christmas. Fun!!!

I need to go shopping for ingredients, as it is H's birthday Christmas eve, and I am making him some cakes. I am also making sausage rolls, so need stuff for those. Debating whether to make mince pies too.

Kids break up tomorrow, then we're popping in very briefly to see my neighbour's twins who are a month old and take presents, and Joshua has his last swimming lesson of the year in the evening. If N settles I'll be wrapping presents in the evening.

Saturday evening is our Homemade Christmas Party so we'll spend the day sorting the house and making stuff for that.

Sunday will be clearing up from the party, maybe a walk if the weather is fine and more Christmas preparations, need to finish off some craft projects with the boys.

    Sounds like some lovely weekends.

LC do you stay with family or do you have a house in Ireland?

AK why are you against H getting his kids more presents?

Because they already have a decent amount.

They never play with what we buy, just the stuff they bring from home.

They dont appreciate what we buy them.

They trash what we buy them.

Same for their Birthdays. If Mummy never bought it, it isn't good enough.

Resent buying more for ungrateful kids.

We've got a really busy weekend- this morning I need to make mixed spice biscuits covered in white chocolate to hang on the tree, make our Christmas cake - which is an iced carrot cake, make mince pies (that one is H's job), the kids also want to do some Christmas sewing things I bought them, I need to go buy J a smart shirt, leave home at 2.30 to drop cards at my godmother's, then to my mum's to cut some holly and ivy for our house decorations, see my other godmother and then home by 5.  Tonight will be beginning the wrapping. Pre-Christmas lunch party at ours tomorrow, then a visit to the inlaws, so busy busy busy!!!
