H is talking to his sister on skipe. She is telling him all about their complicated wedding plans, which seem to involve lots of distances between church, reception, etc, and is clearly causing my SIL to be very stressed (she is a drama queen anyhow). H is slowly loosing patience with her - she won't let him ask questions, every time he starts she interupts him. Her descriptions of problems and logistics don't really make sense. H is slowly getting more and more wound up, and she is oblivious. I am trying not to laugh, or look like I am ear wigging too much. I try to maintain a dignified silence and not comment where his family is concerned, but they do make me laugh quietly.
Do your in laws and H make you laugh?

Oh dear, your poor H! My MIL never let's H get a word in edge ways when she's on the phone to him, H is usually just stood there listening and rolling his eyes.

I've never met H's family. He has nothing to do with them.
Your SIL sounds like my sister though. I no longer talk to her, so don't have to put up with it.
Can your H "accidently" lose connection? I so would. I hate being interrupted and spoken over.

Yes his mother is the same Dumblespud! I have much more patience with her than H does, he gets really wound up. I don't really have patience with SIL though as I find her hard to get on with, but I do my best.
To be honest AK - their whole family seem to talk over each other, each one getting louder and louder until they are shouting at each other. I find them very loud and too much sometimes. When I first met them I thought they all hated each other, but it's just the way they are. I'm getting used to them 5 years down the line! My family are much quieter, shouting is reserved for when we are really angry.
