Has anyone been? Would you recommend? We are going up to manchester in Dec and thinking of doing this.

Liam has been, he liked it, but we only bought the 1/2 day tickets. I don't think that older children would get much out of it

Thanks kellfi, I'm thinking the half day might be the way to go. My son wants to go to the football museum again!

Yes, you couldnt fill a whole day there. No way at all. The 3D movie is ok and there are Tutorials, soft play and a couple of little rides. I think that it is only £8 for the 1/2 day tickets if you buy them online

The football museam isn't near Lego land, i really don't think Lego land up here is worth it, very over priced for what it is I thought. We were there about 3 hours and that was with a 3d show.
Its right next to the Trafford centre so u could do the sealife centre for half the day too but the football museam is quite a but away tbh

Thanks Cp we went to the football museum last year and my son adored it! It's really good and it's free!
We are visiting friends so we thought that LLD would be a good activity but might have a look somewhere else that might be good to see Santa. Any recommendations for the manchester area please? X

The Armadale isn't far from the football museam and they do appointments for Santa. You could also go ice skating at spinning field as that's near by too
