Just wondering if they're any good? I've not heard good things about Pixi-Foto and I wanted to get a cheesy pic of E and me for Father's Day without paying too much. Apparently you don't need an appointment at Max Spielmann and it says they start at £5.99? Any advice or experiences?

I have taken my boys a few times. Always had good experience, and for £5.99, you really can't grumble. You get quite a few pics for your money too.

I have just been and had a mini type shoot this evening. The woman was fantastic and somehow, by some miracle got the nicest natural pics if my boys, 20months and 6 yrs old. We got a frame with one large and three small pics in, one block, two I think about A4 size and 2 cups for £29.99. I haven't seen the finished items yet h couldn't bear to wait half an hour for them but from what I saw I'd highly recommend them! Il show what I got tomorrow.

Oh and I used pixi foto when my eldest was a toddler and although the pictures were good the staff were rubbis and it cost us a fortune.

Oh great, thank you sounds like a winner then! H is a photographer so I'll probably get told off for going but it's the only way to do it without him knowing! Just want a cute pic as a surprise and I couldn't believe the price. Have heard horrors about Pixi-Foto though and wasn't sure if it'd be the same.

Hatricks just had one done of her baby and they look great! The £30 deal

We had one done today and I thought it was good. Can't complain at the package we had for £30! O wasn't in the best of moods so the pictures are the best of a bad bunch but that's not their fault.
