What about fajitas? Get him to slap it together himself, it is a bit messy but good fun.

Salmon - or pink fish as we call it.

    Sausages and mash

Homemade pizza - using muffins as a base or those warburton squares

Spaghetti bolognaise - Peppa and George's favourite

Homemade soup - pack in the veg and have with with garlic bread

Curry he has is tikka masala with K. Chilli is very mild we never seem to make it spicy. Fish pie is bought in, no to mayo as L doesn't like it, he prefers it dry - weird child.

Jambalaya is rice and meat with veg - simples.

Is it just like a ready meal fish pie?

Do you just do a tikka masala jar?

Aaron loves couscous and rice so anything with those. Pasta is always a hit in any form. Homemade burgers? Nachos? Oh he loves fish and always wants to buy a whole fish at supermarket (not a chance bleurgh)

Tonighy we are having meatballs and spaghetti.

I always suggest rice based dishes on these threads as Miss CV loves them! She calls them all paella and I alternate between my best attempt at paella (www.bbc.co.uk/.../bakedspanishrisotto_70241), ordinary risotto and jambalaya - this is roughly the recipe I use although I dont add chilli flakes until Miss CV's portion is out (and haven't used tabasco since early days of making it) www.deliaonline.com/.../chicken-jambalaya.html

She also loves smoked haddock risotto although I dont make that very often at all.

She also likes very mild thai curry with rice.

Oh stir fries - she adores noodles and doesnt need any fancy sauces in her stir fry - we're both happy with soy sauce.

    Roast beef / casserole.

    Cottage pie

Sweet potato wedges (obviously just a side dish but it's a good veg option)

Spag bol has already been mentioned but spaghetti with tomato or veg sauce also.

Tuna pasta bake - we have resurrected this from our student days as Mr CV's occasional contribution to cooking and we all love it (I may just be excited to have any sort of meal made for me!)

Quesadillas - make a sandwich with 2 tortillas (we use corn but flour is fine too) and flash fry in pan for a minute or 2 each side then cut into wedges.  You can put anything in them - plain cheese, or add ham or chicken, veg etc

Mrs G - I have linked to a recipe (I am rubbish without recipes!). It'd be tasteless without stock I reckon and my jambalaya has tomatoes (I use half a tin instead of fresh) but risotto wouldnt tend to have tomatoes if you dont like them.
