I have spent the last 45 minutes frantically searching for U's comfort blanket. The last time I remembered seeing it was this mornign ebfore I finished tidying for the viewing and before I put the rubbish out. Was getting mroe nad more and more frantic and then ta-dah in turned up in a random place.
God we would have been stuffed if that had gone missing!

Aw bless you. Thank goodness it showed up.
My cousin has a bear that goes everywhere with him. Travelled the world over.. anyway one day he was spotted in a shop and so a "backup George" has now been purchased and stashed for any future issues..

Someone made it for her! When they made it I asked for the design and asked MIL if she could make a back up one... two years on still waiting! I've tried various other similar things to try just in case but nothing else is the same!

Alas the person no longer has contact with me as I am persona non grata or basically the EX! Because remember I slept with half the town and kicked him out

Even if you did have another one I don't suppose it would be the "right one". Children are very particular about these things. Good job you found it.

It is amazing how much abuse it gets put through as well. She nowadays uses it more as a pillow, although if it has been washed it gets the full body treatment I assume to make it 'right' again!

Thank goodness you found it. I's comforter is one of her muslins. I dyed them all pink when she was born. It is such a relief that we have so many as we have about 30 and started with about 40!!

Glad you found it. I've seen my friends daughter when she lost hers (a satin pillow case), the screaming, tears and general upset was horrendous.
I have to say, posts like this make me glad my boys haven't bothered with comforters. I couldn't deal with the stress if it got lost.
H's 2 kids have one. SD has a pillow called "tinty", and SS has a blanket. We're not allowed to wash them, and they fooking stink. Just looking at them made me want to vom.
