A couple of weeks ago Matilda was learning to walk. We'd been doing that walk to Mummy, walk to Daddy game to try and encourage her.
Iwas in the kitchen with Arwen and Matilda.Arwen holds her arms out to Matilda and says "walkie, walkie Tildababy"Matilda wobbled across the kitchen and Arwen tried to catch her, however Matilda was that heavy the pair of them fell in a heap on the floor. They both looked suprised for a minute then fell about laughing.

my little Andrew, who is two doesnt speak very much at the moment but when he does speak hes very funny! my OH was teaching him words yesterday using things as props, so we had butter, jam and marmalade on rotation. he says mar-mee for marmalade, and he had everyone in stitches cos he kept saying for the rest of the day!
i also have a very broad Fife accent, which he seems to have picked up on, so when he plays football, he tells me to "kick the ba' " which doesnt go down to well with daddy!

just remembered something my oldest boy said the other day too. one of his fingernails fell off at school last week, and he went to tell his gran who is dinner lady there all about it. he pulled the nail out of his pocket and told her he was going to pit it under his pillow cos the tooth fairy may get confused and think his tooth had come out and give him a magic penny for it!

"I'm Little Red Riding Hood!"She says."So now you have to give me cookies!"
