Morning, I'm back again!  I have been terrible at trying to lose since having M but she is 5 months now and I really need to make an effort.  I joined the gym before my hols and got really into it but since then it's been one thing after another and I;ve only been twice!  I'm trying again today from today.  We are going away next week for half term but I don't want to make the excuse of putting off for another 2 weeks.

No idea on my weight, around 11stone I would guess.  I'm BF still and my body seems to be clinging on to the weight!  I'll just use MFP for now but I am thinking of joining SW after half term for a change - if anyone has any success stories can you share them with me please?

I;ve just had some porridge for brekkie and no idea for the rest of the day as I need to pop out and do a food shop later.

    Morning all!

Belle, I bet you get back on the wagon with no problem, you always seem really disciplined when you stick to it.

CP that all sounds delish! You might be suprised and find you do ok at weigh in if you're really good now.

Morph my mum did WW for some time and changed to SW for a change and is doing well with it, you might find a change gives you a boost.

Well, I had a dominoes and wine last night. Bit of a blip , I felt quite ill after as I've been so good on my diet I think it was too much for my stomach. I thought I was going to throw up so I went to lay on my bed at 10pm and woke still fully dressed at 1.45am. Had to get up and get undressed and wash my face and clean my teeth so then I couldn't get back to sleep!  Going to have a good week  now!

    Todays menu

b'fast- fruit n fibre and skimmed milk

lunch-one slice toast, one scrambled egg, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes.

    Dinner- chicken and roasted veg.

    Snacks- WW bar, fruit.

    Hey everyone,

You are all doing so well, I need some help and motivation,  more to stay on the wagon as this is a long journey for me.  Also the motivation to move more and eat less during the summer months is needed - I just want to snuggle up with a hot chocolate at the moment!

I have joined the gym oppisite work so I have no excuse but my heart isn't really in it - can we have an exercise challange? anyone up for it?  so many hours a week of exercising?  every if it is walking?

diet wise, I stick low carb and eat no more than  1400 calories a day - thats it, nothiing is off limits and if I want it I have it.  I eat of a childs plate (this works amazingly well) and I focus on quality of food over quantity.  so far I have lost 59.8lbs out of a total of 154 I need to lose, 1/3 gone of my excess gone and from a size 24 to an 18

CW you have done amazingly! That's a fab loss! That's what iv found re winter coming in, it was fine being v low carb in the summer but now I just want stodge and casseroles etc.

I think I'm like you too as my heart Is not in exercising at all, I honestly hate it lol

Its just getting the time I think,I work full time,go to uni, have 2 kids, the last thing I want to do is go to a gym and I can't swim so  I think if I could do a length or 2 I'd try to build up but I can't.

Excellent - so I am going to set myself a challange of 180 minutes of exercise in the next week - 30 minutes for 6 days should be doable.  I will have sunday off Laugh

I'll go for 360 mins of exercise for the week which will be four 1.5hr sessions at the gym, ideally I would like to do 5 sessions.

I'll do 1hr cardio and 30 mins toning exercises.  I'm really starting to focus on my core/stomach which needs loads of toning.  I'm going on holiday with my friend next year and she is a skinny minnie so I don't want to look like a whale with a flabby stomach when I'm lying next to her.

Cherry Pie, Maisie Moo - what kind of things are you eating?  What are your staples?  Typical days food?

I did SW years ago when it was red/green days and lost quite a lot.  I;ve done it again once since the plan had changed but still stuck to red/green which just meant i ate loads of carbs!

Afternoon everyone. I've just eaten a packet of crisps, so obviously taking the diet very seriously today! Didn't sleep well last night, got loads on at work so everything feels like a bit of a struggle today.

An exercise challenge sounds like a good idea. I've recently started going out running again and am trying to build this up. I'll work out what will be sensible targets for me later when I've a bit more time.

I find that making homemade soup is a good way of having some stodge which is filling, healthy and low calorie. Plus a lot of casserole recipes are low calorie too.

I'm interesting in an exercise challenge. I'm doing the couch to 5k and I'm in week 5 which means I need to run for 20 minutes today! The most I've run so far is 8mins so I'm not looking forward to what seems a big jump. Plus it's raining. So I'm currently doing c25k three times a week plus a bit of walking with H.
